摘要： An image display apparatus, e.g. a head-mounted image display apparatus, which is capable of satisfactorily correcting field curvature and other aberrations in an optical system simultaneously, and which enables even an image of high resolution to be sufficiently clearly observed, without forming an intermediate image. The apparatus has an image display device (6) for displaying an image, and an optical system for projecting an image formed by the image display device (6) without forming an intermediate image and for leading the projected image to an observer's eyeball (1). The optical system includes at least one concave mirror (4) having a rotationally asymmetric reflecting surface which is concave toward the observer's eyeball and decentered with respect to an optical axis, and at least one optical element (9) of positive refractive power which is disposed between the concave mirror (4) and the image display device (6).

摘要： A carrier for an electrostatic latent-image developer, comprising a core material having thereon a coating layer comprising a resin and fine electroconductive particles, the resin having a work function of 4.5 eV or lower. An electrostatic latent-image developer comprising the carrier and a toner and an image forming process are also disclosed. The carrier is capable of maintaining a high build-up speed of electrification and a proper electrification level even when a charge control agent is omitted or used in a slight amount or when the addition amount of an additive such as silica and titanium oxide is reduced so as to prevent carrier fouling with a charge control agent or an external additive and to inhibit a decrease in developer life.

摘要： A photographic film cassette, having a spool with a slit therein, in which a film trailer is anchored. Abutting walls are formed on the inside of the slit so as to receive the end of the film trailer, and transmit the rotation of the spool to the roll of film. The film trailer anchored on the spool core is guided by a guide portion on the spool core to be wound smoothly in contact with the surface of the spool core. In a preferred embodiment, the spool consists of two spool pieces. A shaft portion of the external spool piece is inserted in that of the internal spool piece. The film trailer is inserted and anchored between the shaft portions which are fitted together.

摘要： A film cassette assembly has a cassette and a roll of film wound on a spool and contained in the cassette. When the spool is rotated, the roll of film is rotated together with it in order to feed a film leader out of the cassette through a film passage mouth. To rotate the spool and the roll of film together, the film cassette assembly presses an axial end portion of the outermost periphery of the roll of film or presses the film's circumferential peripheral surface. Where the axial end portion of the outermost periphery of the roll of film is to be pressed, at least one of a pair of flanges of the spool is elastically deformed to clamp both axial side edges of the outermost periphery of the roll of film. Where the circumferential surface of the outermost periphery of the roll of film is to be pressed, a projection and an elastic member are provided within the cassette.

摘要： A photographic film cassette has photographic film wound on a spool and contained in a cassette shell. Rotation of the spool in the unwinding direction causes a leader to advance through a passageway and exit from a passage mouth. The passageway is defined by a pair of opposed inside faces. The first inside face confronts the emulsion surface of the photographic film, and the second inside face confronts its back surface. A separator claw is formed adjacent to the first inside face, and separates the leader from the roll. The separator claw is formed to project only to a small degree so that the photographic film is prevented from being rubbed and scratched thereby, even when the diameter of the roll is minimized. In a preferred embodiment, a camera for use with such a leader-advancing cassette has a receiving port, which is open to the inside of a cassette receiving chamber, and receives the photographic film as exited from the cassette. A front wall of the receiving port is formed so as to prevent the photographic film from being rubbed and scratched by the first inside face of the cassette.

摘要： In a photographic film cassette, rotation of a spool in a direction of unwinding a photographic film causes a film leader to advance to an outside of a cassette shell. An exposed film is drawn out of the cassette shell after advancing the film leader for developing the exposed film in a state with a film trailer attached to the spool so as to keep the cassette shell reusable. The exposed film is wound up into the cassette shell after development. After development, the spool is rotated in the unwinding direction in a printer in order to advance the film leader outward such that the exposed film can then be drawn out of the cassette shell frame by frame for subjecting the developed film to printing in a state with the film trailer attached to the spool. Thereafter, the spool is rotated in a direction of winding up the developed film for containing the exposed film in the cassette shell.

摘要： A self-advancing film cassette has at least one separation claw for separating a film leader from a roll of film. This separation claw is disposed within a cassette shell so that it will contact an outermost peripheral surface of a photographic film on the outer side of an area where a picture frame is to be formed. The separation claw is so configured that the contact position between the tip thereof and an end face of a film leader end is 1/3 or more of the film thickness when measured from the outer surface of the photographic film. The film leader projects most at a portion corresponding to the separation claw, and the film leader is formed to be narrow so that it will not be stuck to the film roll. In one embodiment, the film leader is subjected to deformation treatment to form a corrugated leading portion, or to rigidity increasing treatment to form a more rigid leading portion.

摘要： A self-advancing film cassette is provided with an auxiliary rotation transmittance structure for reliably transmitting rotation of a spool to the inner turns of a roll of film in order to prevent reverse rotation of the film caused by loosening of the inner turns of the roll of film or inferior bending rigidity. According to one preferred embodiment, a step portion for pushing the bending line of a film trailer is formed on a slit, permitting the end of the film trailer to be inserted therein. In another preferred embodiment, a spool is provided with a resilient member or flap member for urging the inner turns of the roll of film toward its outer turns. The film trailer has increased bending rigidity by having an embossing treatment, applied thereto, or by attaching a skirt thereto.
