Abstract:
In a magnetic tape cassette which has a locking member (1), the locking member is provided with protrusions (6) for abutting and locking in place hubs 13 around which a magnetic tape (12) is wound. The hubs are supported in receiving parts (4) of a window member (3). The window member has protrusions (5) that fit in recesses (7) in a lower portion of the locking member, so that the locking member will be supported between the protrusions of the window member and the upper half (2) of the cassette case.
Abstract:
A reel in which the planarity of a reel plate after insert molding may be ensured. The reel plate is formed into a concave shape, and by insert molding, the reel plate is made substantially flat. When a reel plate is insert molded, the reel plate is deformed in the direction to protrude in the direction to the outside of the reel by shrinkage stress of resin after molding. Therefore, by concaving the reel plate in advance into a concave shape, even if the reel plate is protruded by the shrinkage stress of the resin after insert molding, the amount of protruding may be absorbed by the amount of concaving, and the shape of the reel plate may be made substantially flat. That is to say, the planarity of the reel plate may be obtained. By doing so, the meshing of the reel gear that surrounds the reel plate with the drive gear on the rotation shaft side of the drive device may be improved.
Abstract:
The recording medium cartridge includes a cartridge case containing a recording medium and a noncontact-type memory having an IC section for storing information and performing signal processing and an antenna section for transmitting and receiving signals. In one cartridge, the antenna section of the memory is placed in a region furtherest from metallic parts. In other cartridge, the memory is mounted in an accommodation portion recessed one step relative to a surrounding portion, in such a way that a portion of an inner wall of a real area for accommodating a magnetic tape corresponding to the recording medium is formed, in such a position as to be exposed when the cartridge is loaded into a drive, or in recess formed in an outer surface of a case. The cartridge label is attached to the cartridge and contains the noncontact-type memory. At least an antenna section protective indication for indicating an information writing area other than the area on an antenna coil of the antenna section is provided on the cartridge label.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette includes a case that is formed by joining an upper half and a lower half, one or more tape reels, a window and a reel urging member having a tape reel contacting portion which contacts an upper part of the tape reel(s), bent arms connected to opposite sides of the tape reel contacting portion and sliding end portions provided at distal ends of the bent arm. A slide groove is provided in an inner surface of a perimeter of a window opening in the upper half and a window member has hold-and-retain portions which hold the sliding end portions in cooperation with a bottom surface of the slide groove into which the sliding end portions have been fitted. A tape reel suitable for use with the magnetic tape cassette, a resinous leaf spring and its production process are also provided. Tape reels housed in a cassette case can be urged toward the lower half by a member whose structure is simple and permits easy fitting and removal. Assorted collection of constituent materials, particularly for assorted collection of resin materials and selective collection of resin materials as separate from metal materials are possible.
Abstract:
The recording tape cartridge includes a case body formed by joining together an upper half and a lower half and a tape reel around which a recording tape is wound. The cartridge further includes a lid covering a front side of the case body, and a reel lock member which has a braking claw to be engaged with an engagement tooth provided on a flange of the tape reel and which is adapted to slide with rotation of the lid. Ribs nip the reel lock member so as to perform positional regulation, and a sliding reel lock member urging device urges the reel lock member so as to engage the braking claw with the engagement tooth. A reel lock releasing member urges the reel lock member with rotation of the lid so as to release the engagement.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette storage case (1) comprising a storage section (3) for storing a magnetic tape cassette (81), a lid section (5) for covering the storage section (3), and a connecting section (7) for connecting the storage section (3) and the lid section (5) so as to enable the open-and-closed motion; in which the storage section (3) and the lid section (5) comprise plate portion (11, 21) and sidewall portions (13, 23) provided along the outer peripheries of the flat portions (11, 21) respectively. A notch (26b) having at least the height of the sidewall portion (13) provided on the storage section (3) is formed on the inner side of the end of the sidewall portion (23) closer to the connecting section (7) of the lid section (5).
Abstract:
The recording media cartridge includes a lid which is mounted on an upper half with rotary shafts provided at both side ends thereof in a manner capable of opening/closing for a front surface opening portion on a case body formed by coupling the upper half and a lower half, and a lid urging member having an inflection arm portion between a support end portion for engaging the member to the upper half and an anchor end portion anchored on a front edge inner surface, wherein the inflection arm portion of the lid urging member is brought into contact with the upper half at least at one portion during the open state and is deformed through inflection at the inflection arm portion by making the contact portion as a point of inflection, and the lid is urged in a rotating direction for closing.
Abstract:
A disc cartridge includes: a disc medium; a case formed by an upper shell and a lower shell; a first aperture formed in the case; an inner rotor rotatably accommodated in the case and having a second aperture that has substantially the same size as the first aperture; a pair of shutter members supported between the inner rotor and the lower shell, being pivotable around their axes to open or close the first aperture and the second aperture; a guide hole formed in each of the shutter members; guide projections provided at the lower shell, the guide projections respectively passing through the guide holes and, along with rotation of the inner rotor, causing the shutter members to pivot around their axes to open or close; and recessed portions formed in the inner rotor to avoid contact with tips of the guide projections passing through the guide holes.
Abstract:
At both sides of an opening of a cassette case, there are formed tape guides having guide faces, and a magnetic tape is stretched between the guide faces. On back faces of the guide faces of the tape guides, are formed cam grooves for guiding an open/close lid which covers the stretched magnetic tape. The open/close lid includes an inner lid provided with slide pins projected from both ends thereof and adapted to be slidably engaged with the cam grooves. An upper cassette half includes position regulating member adapted to be abutted by the slide pins in a state where said open/close lid is fully opened.
