Abstract:
A magnetic tape cartridge containing a tape reel to which a magnetic tape with a leader pin attached to a leading end is wound is equipped with a leader pin retaining structure for safe and secure retention of the leader pin immediately behind a tape egress/ingress opening. The leader pin retaining structure comprises a retainer member having resilient arms and a leader pin support for supporting the retainer member so as to place tail end portions of the resilient arms across end collars of the leader pin received in sockets provided adjacent to the tape egress/ingress opening, wherein the leader pin support resiliently urges and bends the resilient arms so as to retain the end collars of the leader pin by the tail end portions of the resilient arms, respectively.
Abstract:
A leader tape that is joined at an end portion of a recording tape wound on a reel and that, when pulling out the recording tape, is pulled out by a pullout member of a drive device and conveyed on a predetermined path by guide members of the drive device, wherein recessed portions are formed in a surface of the leader tape that abuts with the guide members, is provided.
Abstract:
The recording medium cartridge includes a cartridge case containing a recording medium and a noncontact-type memory having an IC section for storing information and performing signal processing and an antenna section for transmitting and receiving signals. The antenna section of the memory is placed in a region furthest from metallic parts.
Abstract:
The recording medium cartridge includes a cartridge case containing a recording medium and a noncontact-type memory having an IC section for storing information and performing signal processing and an antenna section for transmitting and receiving signals. In one cartridge, the antenna section of the memory is placed in a region furtherest from metallic parts. In other cartridge, the memory is mounted in an accommodation portion recessed one step relative to a surrounding portion, in such a way that a portion of an inner wall of a real area for accommodating a magnetic tape corresponding to the recording medium is formed, in such a position as to be exposed when the cartridge is loaded into a drive, or in recess formed in an outer surface of a case. The cartridge label is attached to the cartridge and contains the noncontact-type memory. At least an antenna section protective indication for indicating an information writing area other than the area on an antenna coil of the antenna section is provided on the cartridge label.
Abstract:
A punching mold having a die in which a through-hole is formed, and a punch which fits together with the through-hole and which punches a workpiece which is placed on the die. With one punching mold, the punching mold punches elongated products corresponding to a plurality of overall lengths which are different. End surfaces of the product are formed with high precision over an entire longitudinal direction region. Progressive feeding of a source material sheet for punching and forming the product is carried out smoothly.
Abstract:
A leader tape to be spliced in a butting manner to a leading end of a magnetic tape, the leading end being mechanically cut in a tapered shape, wherein the leader tape has a surface roughness RZ (RZ complies with JIS B0601-1994) of 5 μm or less.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette storage case (1) comprising a storage section (3) for storing a magnetic tape cassette (81), a lid section (5) for covering the storage section (3), and a connecting section (7) for connecting the storage section (3) and the lid section (5) so as to enable the open-and-closed motion; in which the storage section (3) and the lid section (5) comprise plate portion (11, 21) and sidewall portions (13, 23) provided along the outer peripheries of the flat portions (11, 21) respectively. A notch (26b) having at least the height of the sidewall portion (13) provided on the storage section (3) is formed on the inner side of the end of the sidewall portion (23) closer to the connecting section (7) of the lid section (5).
Abstract:
In a magnetic tape cassette, a top end portion of a reel urging plate spring for urging a tape reel is subjected to a surface treatment to prevent from a friction. A distance between a couple of flanges of the tape reel is selected to keep a form of the wound magnetic tape, and to prevent the tape running from being disturbed by the increase of a contact resistance of the tape edges to the flanges. Additionally, positioning portions for positioning the magnetic tape cassette relative to a magnetic tape drive device are formed of a differential resin from the resin of the remaining part of the cassette case. Additionally, at least one of both end faces of each guide roller is surface treated so that the end face is not worn through its contact with the cassette half. Further, an information presenting section for displaying variable information is provided at a location other than label areas of the tape cassette.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cartridge comprises: a single reel 3 around which a magnetic tape is wound; and a cartridge case 2 for accommodating the reel 3 rotatably, the cartridge case 2 including a lower case 60, at the center of the bottom portion of which an opening 2c for driving the reel is formed for exposing the engaging means for driving the reel, the engaging means for driving the reel being formed on an outer surface of the bottom portion of a reel hub, the cartridge case also including an upper case 2a attached to an upper portion of the lower case 60. A crimped surface 62 for reducing a frictional resistance is formed on a side wall 61 of the lower case 60 which slidably comes into contact with a cartridge guide member of a recording and playback device when the magnetic tape cartridge is attached to and detached from a deck. Thereby, it is possible to provide a magnetic tape cartridge that can be smoothly attached to and detached from a deck of a recording and playback device.
Abstract:
A recording tape cartridge that can secure the attached region of an RFID in a case is provided including: a case that has an upper case and a lower case and houses a reel around which a recording tape is wound; a restricting wall that is formed at least in the lower case and defines an area in which the reel is housed; a housing portion that is formed between the restricting wall and the corner of the case; and a planar RFID that is provided in the housing portion such that the rotational axis direction of the reel is a normal line direction.
