摘要： There is provided a waterproof case which prevents ingress of water into the waterproof case through a protection piece, including a case body formed into a rectangular tube-like shape with a peripheral wall thereof and a lower cover having a bottom wall covering a lower opening of the case body and a peripheral wall extending from the bottom wall. The peripheral wall of the body case is placed so as to cover the peripheral wall of the lower cover. The protection piece is provided at the peripheral wall of the lower cover so as to sandwich the peripheral wall of the case body with the peripheral wall of the lower cover to prevent the deformation of the peripheral wall of the lower cover. There is also provided a protrusion protruding from a surface of the peripheral wall of the case body on which the protection piece is placed.

The coaxial connector includes a center conductor, a surrounding conductor by which the center conductor is surrounded, and an insulating housing. The center conductor has a leg portion at its base end. The surrounding conductor has six lugs at its base end that extend radially. The leg portion and the lugs are exposed on a bottom surface of the housing. The coaxial connector is mounted on the circuit board with the leg portion pressed against a signal pad on the circuit board for electrical connection and the lugs pressed against a ground pad for electrical connection.

The contact includes a first part including a first terminal part and a first connection part; a second part including a second terminal part and a second connection part, and a third part including an elastic part having a first end and a second end connected to the first part and the second part, respectively. The first connection part and the second connection part face each other across a gap. The second terminal part is configured to come into press contact with an electrode in response to fixation of the housing to a board. The third part is configured to elastically deform in response to attachment of a plug to the housing and/or the fixation of the housing to the board, so as to cause the first connection part and the second connection part to come into contact and be electrically connected.

The FFC connection contact section is formed in a U-shape, and includes a base section on which a triangular projection is formed. An FFC is held between the base section and a slider fitted in the housing. The projection pierces a covering of the FFC to come into contact with a wire of the FFC. Thus, the FFC is electrically and mechanically connected to the connector.

When the push section is pushed by an end of an FPC, the narrow section is bent so that the second contact arm is moved closer to the first contact arm. The push section is locked by the locking section so that the FPC is held and fixed between the first contact arm and the second contact arm.
