    Abstract: Described is a frequency selective limiter (FSL) module comprising a cascade of an FSL and a functional limiter (e.g. a conventional semiconductor limiter comprising a PIN diode) with steady state limiting and power threshold values selected such the FSL module provides suppression of a spike leakage power and while still enabling frequency selective limiting.

    Abstract: An enhanced electrical circuit can employ conductive fill components that can facilitate providing desirable resistive stabilization of the electrical circuit and other desirable circuit qualities without having to use a physical resistor. The electrical circuit can comprise a transmission line, which can be a microstrip line, that can have defined dimensions. The electrical circuit can comprise respective conductive fill components that can be in proximity to desired sides of the transmission line, wherein the respective conductive fill components can provide the desired resistive stabilization for the electrical circuit. The respective conductive fill components can be separated from, and not in contact with, each other based on respective gaps of a defined size(s) between respective adjacent conductive fill components. The respective conductive fill components can be across a single layer or multiple layers of conductive fill components.

    Abstract: An electronic device and a method for reducing power consumption of signal transmission in the electronic device are provided.     Abstract: The accuracy of an impedance tuner may be improved and the size may be reduced by using linear actuators instead of rotary motors. The linear actuator may be integrated with position sensors to allow very small size, and implemented with a servo system for best accuracy and speed. Spring loaded arms holding the mismatch probes allow the tuner to operate in any orientation to further fit into small spaces. The small size reduces losses by allowing direct connection to wafer probes for on-wafer measurement systems.

    Abstract: In an example embodiment, an azimuth combiner comprises: a septum layer comprising a plurality of septum dividers; first and second housing layers attached to first and second sides of the septum layer; a linear array of ports on a first end of the combiner; wherein the first and second housing layers each comprise waveguide H-plane T-junctions; wherein the waveguide T-junctions can be configured to perform power dividing/combining; and wherein the septum layer evenly bisects each port of the linear array of ports. A stack of such azimuth combiners can form a two dimensional planar array of ports to which can be added a horn aperture layer, and a grid layer, to form a dual-polarized, dual-BFN, dual-band antenna array.
