Abstract:
An adhesive application apparatus is provided. The apparatus uses a rolled on adhesive applied to a substrate. After roll application, an adhesive activator is sprayed onto the substrate. By spraying an activator onto the substrate after the adhesive is applied, the adhesive may be made tacky for adhesion, but the adhesive used for rolling may be highly stable and slow to dry/cure without said activator, which enhances rolled application effectiveness.
Abstract:
A holster for a spray gun is provided. The holster is configured to hold a spray gun in place when not in use. The holster has a reservoir body that defines an open-topped chamber. A fluid may be held inside the chamber, and a nozzle of the spray gun held by the holster may submerge in this fluid. The nozzle being submerged in the fluid of the holster can prevent hardening, thickening or drying of any material left over on or in the spray gun nozzle after use.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an improved method of storing, maintaining, and distributing computer intelligible electronic data that substantially reduces the cost and complexity of traditional database management systems. The present invention provides a unstructured database capable of efficiently accessing and storing electronic data, regardless of the data's structure. Instead of slotting incoming data into a predefined rigid storage structure, the present invention analyzes the inherent structure of the incoming data. Based upon the results of this analysis, the unstructured database of the present invention generates a storage model using tokenized symbology representing the inherent structure of the data. The tokenized symbology of the present invention is utilized to provide immediate access to each data field in a given record. The present invention utilizes logical and positional pointers to allow entire records associated with any data field to be generated without the need for additional search queries.
Abstract:
The addition of a chlorinated alkyl phosphate oil to a natural latex emulsion has enabled the formulation of water-based contact cements with the ability to instantly bond porous substrates together. The adhesives offer the user of solvent based contact cements an alternative more practical than hot melts, two-part water-based, or slower setting one-part water-based adhesives in industries where the immediate assembly of porous substrates is necessary.
Abstract:
Apparatus adapting a guide device for use with a hand-holdable cutting torch. The guide device has an articulated arm whose free end is movable in a planar path defined by a stationary pattern template which the arm engages. The torch is of a type having a barrel, a handle carried on the barrel, an elongated nozzle, and an angled connection between the barrel and nozzle. The adapting apparatus includes a bushing for releasably clamping the torch nozzle, and a bushing-support plate carried on the free end of the arm in the guide device. The bushing, with the torch nozzle clamped therein, is mounted on the support plate for rotation relative thereto about the axis of the torch nozzle, where this axis is disposed substantially normal to the plane of arm movement. The apparatus enables the user to guide the movement of the arm along the template path by manipulating the torch handle.
