摘要： A light scanning apparatus to be used in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the light scanning apparatus including: a housing having an outer wall provided with an opening; a light source configured to emit a light beam; a deflecting device provided in the housing and configured to deflect the light beam emitted from the light source such that the light beam emitted from the light source scans a photosensitive member; an optical element arranged on an optical path of the light beam in the housing; and an elastic member provided on the housing to block up the opening, wherein the elastic member is formed of a material which is deformable to increase and decrease a volumetric capacity of an internal space formed by the housing and the elastic member in accordance with a temperature fluctuation inside the housing.

摘要： In a sheet conveyance apparatus, a sponge roller is provided at a joining portion in which a first sheet conveyance path joins a second sheet conveyance path. A leading edge of a sheet or tailing edge of a sheet abuts at the sponge roller when the sheet is conveyed from the first conveyance path to the second conveyance path. In a projection surface in a direction orthogonal to a sheet conveyance direction in the second sheet conveyance path, an outer periphery of the sponge roller and an outer periphery of a conveyance roller, which is positioned in a downstream side, are partially overlapped in the second conveyance path. Further the sponge roller is rotatably arranged. With such a configuration, the noise generated in the joining portion can be reduced, and effect to reduce the noise can be continued.

摘要： An elastic sponge roller is provided at a confluence portion where a first sheet conveyance path joins in a second sheet conveyance path and a leading edge and a rear edge of a sheet are brought into contact with the sponge roller when the sheet is conveyed from the first conveyance path to the second conveyance path. Further, the sponge roller is connected to drive via a one-way clutch. Such a configuration reduces a sound produced at the confluence portion and prevents the leading edge of the sheet from being bent in colliding with the sponge roller to stabilize the conveyance of the sheet.

摘要： The present invention related to an endless belt conveying apparatus and toner image heating apparatus having spring members (thermally responsive members) composed of a shape memory alloy are disposed to both the edges of a pressure fixing belt (pressure belt) in the belt width direction thereof. When the pressure fixing belt offsets to one side in the belt width direction while it travels, one of the spring members, which is heated by the edge of the pressure belt approaching it, is deformed in response to the heat. A roller swing support frame on the belt edge side, which approaches the above spring member, is lifted upward in a gravity direction using a swing pin as a fulcrum in a gravity direction by the operation force generated by the deformation of the one spring member. The swing operation is alternately repeated between the one spring member and the other spring member to thereby correct the inclination of the pressure belt.

The return belt moves the sheets to which a load has been imparted by the conveyance assist roller and causes them to be abutted on the trailing edge stopper.
