摘要： An image inspection device includes: a read-image acquiring unit that acquires a read image of a formed and output image; an inspection-image generating unit that generates an inspection image used for inspection of the read image on the basis of information of an image to be formed and output acquired from an image processing apparatus that corrects density of the image according to a state of an image forming apparatus, and generates the information; and an inspection-result acquiring unit that acquires a result of determination of a defect in the read image based on a difference between the inspection image and the read image. The inspection-image generating unit acquires density correction information in which densities before and after density of the image is corrected are associated, and generates the inspection image corresponding to density before corrected, on the basis of the acquired density correction information.

摘要： An information processing apparatus includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to acquire read image data of an image formed on a recording medium. The circuitry is configured to generate, based on the output target image data, inspection image data for inspection of the read image data. The circuitry is configured to compare the read image data corrected based on an amount of deviation caused by conveyance of the recording medium with the inspection image data generated, to detect an image abnormality. The circuitry is configured to highlight and output a position of a portion of the image abnormality in the read image data before correction, based on the amount of deviation caused by conveyance of the recording medium, in response to the image abnormality being detected.

摘要： An image inspection apparatus for inspecting an image output on a recording medium. The image inspection apparatus includes processing circuitry that obtains data of an output-target image used by an image forming apparatus to conduct an image forming operation, generates read data from the data of the output-target image, and generates an inspection reference image from the data of the output-target image. The apparatus also performs position alignment between the read image and the inspection reference image, conducts an inspection which determines a defect in the read image based on the difference of the aligned read image and the inspection reference image, and determines whether a position alignment defect exists in the read image based on the defect detected during inspection.
