The present invention provides a humid air turbine having a compressor, a humidificator for generating humid air by adding moisture to compressed air supplied from the compressor, a combustor, a turbine, a recuperator for effecting heat exchange between exhaust from the turbine and the humid air, an economizer for effecting heat exchange between exhaust from the recuperator and water, and a system for supplying the water heated by the economizer to the humidificator. The humid air turbine includes a temperature measurement device for measuring the temperature of gas discharged from the economizer, and a control device for adjusting the amount of moisture to be supplied to the humidificator in accordance with a temperature signal from the temperature measurement device. The present invention assures low NOx of combustor and flame stability before and after water addition to the humid air turbine.

A partition member is also provided to prevent the fluid in the main housing and the fluid in the combustor outer casing from mixing with each other.

The purpose is to improve the mixture ratio of a pre-mixer by a simple arrangement to form a more uniform premixed gases so as to materialize low NOx combustion. Two fuel nozzles disposed circumferentially of a pre-mixer are combined with a single air intake window to make a set, which set is used to produce swirls in a pair, thereby expediting mixing. Further, the inlet window is shaped such that its circumferential width is changed axially of the combustor, thereby changing the strength and size of the swirls to achieve the greatest effect. By reducing both the pre-mixer inlet windows and the partition walls in number, the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and by strengthening and optimizing the swirls, a combustor with superior low NOx performance can be provided, while it is possible to reduce the length of the pre-mixer necessary to obtain the same mixture ratio, leading to a cost reduction.

An object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine combustor that supports hydrogen-containing gas having a high burning velocity and is capable of performing low NOx combustion without reducing reliability of a burner. A first fuel nozzle is provided upstream of a combustion chamber and supplies fuel for activation and hydrogen-containing gas. The combustor has a primary combustion zone, a reduction zone and a secondary combustion zone. In the primary combustion zone, the fuel supplied from the first fuel nozzle is combusted under a fuel rich condition to form a burned gas containing a low concentration of oxygen. In the reduction zone, a hydrogen-containing gas is injected into the combustion chamber through a second fuel injection hole from a second fuel nozzle so that NOx generated in the primary combustion zone is reduced by an oxygen reaction of the hydrogen. In the secondary combustion zone, air for lean combustion is supplied into the combustion chamber so that unburned part of fuel is combusted under a fuel lean condition.
