A label sheet for electrophotography, constituted of a label base member and a separator base member both made of resin film, and an image forming method with use thereof. Difference of thermal shrinkage rates in an MD direction between the label body and the separator of the label sheet after heat treatment for 5 minutes at 150° C. is in the range of −0.3% to 0.1%. Stiffness E·t3, a function of a tensile elasticity rate E (N/mm2) of the separator at 135° C. and thickness t (mm) of the separator at 23° C, 50% R.H., is 0.21 N·mm or more. Occurrences of winding around a fuser and marks of winding are suppressed, curls are small, and toner cracks do not appear even if printed matter is left in conditions of high temperature and high humidity.

An image recording apparatus is disclosed wherein an image is recorded on a recording medium based on image information by ejecting liquid droplets from a liquid droplet ejecting head. A liquid droplet ejecting head is provided which has an ejection region substantially corresponding to a width of the recording medium. A conveyor unit is provided which conveys the recording medium to the ejection region of the liquid droplet ejecting head with the recording medium attracted and attached thereto and supported thereon. The recording medium is fed from the conveyor unit to a paper discharge section. Further, a plurality of attracting and supporting sub-units are provided which are vertically moved with the recording medium, which is delivered thereto from the conveyor unit, attracted and attached thereto and supported thereon, thereby conveying the recording medium to a subsequent step.

The elongation of the sheet in the cross direction when the humidity is changed from 25% RN to 90% RH at 20° C. is not higher than about 0.65% and the water content of the sheet at opening its package as measured according to JIS P8127 is approximately in the range from 3.5 to 6.5%. A method of forming a color image using color toners each containing a polyester resin having Mn in the range of from about 1,000 to 9,000 and using the above-described electrophotographic transfer sheet is also provided.

The present invention provides an electrophotographic transfer film which can provide improvements in the color development at the half tone (dot) area of a projected image and the anti-offset properties. A novel electrophotographic transfer film is disclosed which comprises an image receiving layer provided on at least one side of a transparent support is provided, wherein the image receiving layer comprises a polyester including (i) a repeating unit of a dibasic acid component containing at least one dicarboxylic acid unit selected from the group consisting of a telephthalic acid unit and a 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid unit, and a sulfobenzenedicarboxylic acid unit; and (ii) a repeating unit of a divalent alcohol component containing an ethylene glycol unit, a triethylene glycol unit and a bisphenol A-ethylene oxide adduct unit. A color image formation process is also provided which comprises forming a color image on the electrophotographic transfer film.
