Abstract: A power shut-off connector has contact terminals 55, 56 coming into sliding contact with a moving pin 43, a mating portion 54 and a retaining member 45 of the moving pin, an urging member 62 and a driving member (solenoid) 42 with respect to the moving pin. One side of a locking member 45 as a retaining member is coupled to the plunger 44 of a solenoid 42 and the other side is pivotally supported with a bracket 46 and besides the locking member is mated with the mating portion. The solenoid 42 is provided with a second plunger 150 symmetrically and by coupling a second locking member 151 to the plunger 150, the plunger may be mated with the second mating portion 65 of the moving pin 43. In place of the locking member 151, the plunger 44 may be pulled by means of a weight and a folded wire. A mating portion 54 is provided at the leading end of the moving pin 43, and the locking member 45 and a bracket are disposed on the projecting side of the moving pin so as to dispose the solenoid on the side of the moving pin. The locking member is provided with a plastic tip 53. A housing portion for housing a coil spring 62 is provided in the moving pin.

Abstract: A connector for circuit board has a guide case provided on the base wall thereof, which has openings for exposing terminal conductors of a circuit board inserted therein and guide ribs for leading insertion of spring terminal of another connector and of which the edge portion is tapered. Abstract: The mating structure includes a bracket defined to be fitted to a base body. The bracket has a guide portion consisting of an inclined portion and a lock opening turned from the inclined portion. The structure further has a first connector pivotably attached to the bracket and a second connector provided on a fitting panel constructed to be attached to the base body. The second connector has an engagement piece associated with the guide portion of the bracket. The fitting panel is pivotable toward the base body side when the first and second connectors have mated completely. The first and second connectors are completely mated with each other when the engagement piece has reached the lock opening. Abstract: A shielded connector is provided which makes connection for shielding and sealing for waterproofing at the same time that the connector is directly mounted on a vehicle instrument such as a motor. A connector housing with a terminal fitting-accommodating hole formed therein is provided with a shielding metal shell, into which accommodating hole is fitted a terminal fitting attached to a shielded cable such that the shield of the shielded cable is connected with the metal shell via a connecting member fitted on the shield. The connector housing is further provided on its outer periphery with a flange for fixing the connector housing in a connector-mounting hole formed in the casing of the instrument and with a seal ring for sealing the mounting hole. Abstract: A coupling confirming mechanism for an electric connector having a first and second connector housings, capable of confirming the proper coupling of the first and second connector housings and double-locking the first and second connector housings. The coupling confirming mechanism comprises: a locking arm having a locking projection formed on the first connector housing; a locking lever pivotally joined at its rear end to the first connector housing and provided at its front end with an insulating projection, and at its front end with locking fingers; locking projections formed on the second connector housing; a break contact formed of a pair of short-circuiting terminals disposed in a short-circuiting terminal chamber formed in the second connector housing.
