摘要： In a connector comprising: a terminal having an electrically contacting spring piece which is accommodated in a surrounding wall in such a manner that it is allowed to protrude through an opening formed in the surrounding wall; and a connector housing into which the terminal is inserted, the spring piece has an electrically contacting portion confronted with the opening, and an slide portion bent in such a manner that it is away from the opening, and the connector housing has a depressing protrusion for depressing the slide portion. As the terminal is inserted into the connector housing, the depressing protrusion depresses the slide portion so as to cause the electrically contacting portion to protrude outside through the opening. Thus, the electrically contacting spring piece of the terminal is protectively held in the terminal until the latter is inserted into the connector housing.

摘要： A shield connector wherein maintenance thereof such as replacement of terminals can be performed readily and admission of water is prevented. The shield connector comprises a tubular outer housing made of an insulating resin material, a tubular metal shell inserted in the outer housing and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an inner housing made of an insulating resin material and inserted in the metal shell, a plurality of terminals removably accommodated in the inner housing and connected to a shield cable, a rear shell removably fitted in the metal shell and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an annular cap made of an insulating resin material for removably holding therein the semi-annular contacting portions of the metal shell and the rear shell with a shield portion of the shield cable inserted between the semi-annular contacting portions, and a rear cover made of a synthetic resin material and removably fitted with a rear end portion of the outer housing. The shield cable extends through the rear cover.

摘要： A high-current fuse for vehicles is provided. This high-current fuse includes a conductive plate having a fuse and terminal connecting portions on both ends, and a resin case into which the conductive plate is insert-molded. A heat radiating portion for releasing heat generated from the fuse and the conductive plate when energized is provided on the outer surface of the resin case. The heat radiating portion is made up of a plurality of thin plates arranged on the resin case at regular intervals. The thin plates are situated in parallel with the energizing direction so as to strengthen the resin case. To keep the fuse away from both ends of the conductive plate, a pair of assisting plates facing to each other are formed in the middle of the conductive plate, and the fuse is disposed between the assisting plates. The fuse between the assisting plates is in the direction perpendicular to the energizing direction of the conductive plate.

The feeder connector comprises a feeding side connector A on the power supply apparatus side and a receiving side connector B on the car body side. The protective case 2 consists of a main case 2A made up of a cylinder portion 3, a half-cylinder portion 4 and a trough portion 5, all formed integral, and a subcase 2B. The connector body 1 is formed integral with the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A through a flange 19 formed along the periphery of the body. An opening 11 is formed ranging from the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A to the subcase 2B. In this opening 11, a lock lever 12 for the receiving side connector B is rotatably provided.

摘要： To inspect the coupling condition of two matable connector housings, one of the connector housings is formed with a guide recessed portion on an upper surface thereof so as to be fittable to the lower end surface of an image tube, an aperture at the center of the guide recessed portion through which connector housing coupling condition can be seen, and at least one groove indicative of the connector model code; an image tube is lowered so that the lower end portion of the image tube is brought into contact with the guide recessed portion to take an image; the detected image is compared with reference patterns to check whether the connector housings are coupled normally; an alarm is generated if abnormal; and the total number of normally coupled connectors can be displayed for each connector model code.

摘要： A power shut-off connector has contact terminals 55, 56 coming into sliding contact with a moving pin 43, a mating portion 54 and a retaining member 45 of the moving pin, an urging member 62 and a driving member (solenoid) 42 with respect to the moving pin. One side of a locking member 45 as a retaining member is coupled to the plunger 44 of a solenoid 42 and the other side is pivotally supported with a bracket 46 and besides the locking member is mated with the mating portion. The solenoid 42 is provided with a second plunger 150 symmetrically and by coupling a second locking member 151 to the plunger 150, the plunger may be mated with the second mating portion 65 of the moving pin 43. In place of the locking member 151, the plunger 44 may be pulled by means of a weight and a folded wire. A mating portion 54 is provided at the leading end of the moving pin 43, and the locking member 45 and a bracket are disposed on the projecting side of the moving pin so as to dispose the solenoid on the side of the moving pin. The locking member is provided with a plastic tip 53. A housing portion for housing a coil spring 62 is provided in the moving pin.

摘要： A connector which includes a male connector housing (1), a female connector housing (2), and a rotary shaft (3) for camming the male connector housing (1) into engagement with the female connector housing. The male connector housing 1 includes flexible arms (6) having engagement claws (8) for alternatively engaging holes (19) and (20) provided in the female connector housing so as to retain the connector housings in a provisionally engaged position or a completely engaged position. The flexible arms also include a constrictive portion (7) for flexing the arms outwardly when the shaft is inserted into the connector housings. As a result, the engagement claws (8) are disengaged from the provisional engagement holes (19) so that the connector housings can be moved to the completely engaged position. After the connector housings have been moved to the completely engaged position as a result of rotation of the shaft, the shaft can than be removed from the connector housings so that the claws (8) engage holes (20).
