摘要: An illumination device includes: a light source device adapted to emit an excitation light beam; and a rotating fluorescent plate having a single fluorescent layer adapted to convert a part or whole of the excitation light beam into a fluorescent light beam. The fluorescent light beam includes two or more colored light beams, and the single fluorescent layer is formed on a circular disk, which can be rotated by a motor, continuously along a circumferential direction of the circular disk.

摘要: A lighting device includes: a light source which emits light around a light source axis; a reflector which has a plurality of reflection surfaces for reflecting light emitted from the light source; a plurality of converging units each of which is provided for the corresponding reflection surface of the plural reflection surfaces to receive light released from the corresponding reflection surface; and a stacking system which stacks light having passed the plural converging units on a light receiving area wherein each of the plural reflection surfaces is formed by a part of a spheroid having focuses at the position of the corresponding converging unit and the position of the light source, and each focal distance of the plural converging units becomes longer as the distance between the position of the converging unit and the light source axis increases.

摘要: A projector includes: a light source which emits light; an image forming unit which forms an image having desired size by using light emitted from the light source; and a projection unit which projects the image formed by the image forming unit on a light receiving surface. The projection unit has a light diffusing member disposed at a position where an intermediate image corresponding to light released from the image forming unit is formed to diffuse the light, and a projection system which projects the light diffused by the light diffusing member on the light receiving surface. Diffusion intensity distribution of light released from a predetermined position of the light diffusing member contains at least two prominences with the center axis of the light interposed between the prominences.

摘要: The invention relates to a technique of providing illumination light having an even intensity, in order to make intensity of three illumination light with a simple structure. A second optical waveguide having a second incidence plane for second color light and a third optical waveguide having a third incidence plane for third color light are joined to a first optical waveguide having a first incidence plane for first optical light and an emergence plane opposed to the first incidence plane. A first dichroic filter that reflects the first color light and the third color light and transmits the second color light is formed on a joint surface between the first optical waveguide and the second waveguide. A second dichroic filter that reflects the first color light and the second color light and transmits the third color light is formed on a joint surface between the first optical waveguide and the third waveguide.

摘要: The present invention provides a touch panel having pluralities of projections, each of the projections having a predetermined shape, formed on inner surfaces of a lower substrate and an upper substrate, respectively. The projections being formed in at least two directions with a substantially periodical pitch that is shorter than any wavelength of visible light. The touch panel can also include a lower transparent electrode and an upper transparent electrode formed over the inner surfaces of the lower substrate and the upper substrate having the pluralities of projections, respectively. The cross-sectional area of each of the projections parallel to the outer surface of the lower substrate is configured to decrease continuously from bottom to top of the projection. The same applies to the combination of each of the projections, the bottom and a top thereof, and the upper substrate. Accordingly, this structure reduces the light reflection and diffraction at the boundary between an air space and the transparent electrode, thereby providing a resistive contact-type touch panel or a electrostatic capacitive coupling-type touch panel having high light transmittance.
