    摘要: The present invention provides a biaxially oriented film of a polyoxymethylene polymer having the main part of each of the main chains thereof substantially composed of repeating units of the oxymethylene group, --CH.sub.2 --O--, which biaxially oriented polyoxymethylene polymer film is characterized by the fact that the crystallinity thereof measured by the density method is in the range of 75 to 95% and the degree of crystal orientation measured by the X-ray diffraction method in the two directions of end and edge are each in the range of 80 to 98%. This film possesses a high modulus of elasticity, outstanding dimensional stability, and low equilibrium water absorption ratio and, therefore, it is particularly suitable as a base film of a magnetic recording medium. This film is produced by accurately controlling the orientation conditions and other processing conditions.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a connecting rod that connects a crankpin and a piston. The connecting rod has first and second connecting rods, and a guide piston is disposed at a connecting portion between the first and second connecting rods. Deformed portions are formed on a lower end portion of a guide piston and on a balancer weight portion of a crankshaft in order to reduce the whole length of the connecting rod, whereby a bottom dead center of the guide piston is set to a lower position. The engine has improved thermal efficiency by reducing the distance between the crank portion and the piston, increasing the speed of behavior of the piston at a position near a top dead center to reduce thermal energy loss, and preventing generation of knocking.

    摘要: In order to have an external force heading from the front toward the occupant received, a bumper member extending substantially along the length of the vehicle is disposed under or by the sides of the cabin (riding space). The shock absorbing members are connected at the rear ends of the bumper member. Even in the case of the vehicle in which it is difficult to dispose the shock absorbing member at the front portion of the vehicle within the range of the length of the vehicle for example, when an impact load is exerted to such a vehicle, the impact load may be efficiently absorbed. As a consequent the riding space for an occupant can be maintained. The shock absorbing body may be constructed of an upper shock absorbing member and a lower shock absorbing member. The upper and lower shock absorbing members may be formed of two types of members having different crushing features. Accordingly, since the shock absorbing body is constructed by combining two members having different crushing features, the crushing extent of the shock absorbing body may preferably be determined corresponding to the two-wheel vehicle.

    摘要: There is disclosed a biaxially oriented film formed of film forming composition comprising a polyoxymethylene polymer in which the major constituent of the main chains of said polymer each of consists substantially of repeating units of oxymethylene group --CH.sub.2 --O--, said film being characterized in that, when said film is remelted at a temperature above the melting point of said film and the resulting melt is recrystallized isothermally at 140.degree. C. into a solid in film form, the number of polyoxymethylene spherulites in the crystal structure at the surface of the resulting film would be at least 50 per 0.1 mm.sup.2 area of the resulting film surface, as measured with a polarizing microscope through cross-polarizers, and a process for manufacturing the same.

    摘要: An airbag system is configured to fulfill its role on a saddle-ride type vehicle even when the vehicle collides with a side of a vehicle moving in a generally perpendicular direction. An embodiment of the airbag system includes an airbag which is configured to the inflated and fully upward from the vehicle front of a rider. The airbag includes a head part opposite to a rider's head during inflation and deployment, and a neck part which rises upward from the vehicle and toward the head part. The neck part has a width in a direction of vehicle width which is narrower than that of the head part. The neck part includes neckings curved inward in the direction of the vehicle width.
