    摘要： A process for the development of color photographic light-sensitive material is described. The process comprises color developing an exposed light-sensitive material in the presence of a compound of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein M is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, NH.sub.4 or a protective group for the mercapto group which undergoes cleavage by the action of an alkali; R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and R' is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms. This process prevents the formation of color development fog without seriously reducing sensitivity.

    摘要： An electron gun for a color picture tube has beam generators for generating three electron beams and directing them toward the fluorescent screen along three paths which are parallel with each other on the same plane, and at least one pair of electrode surfaces each having three apertures centered with the three paths for forming independent main lenses so as to focus the electron beams on the fluorescent screen, the electrode surfaces being spaced apart from each other. Provided for the electrode surface are cylindrical shield members centered with the apertures and extending from the apertures in opposition to the opposing electrode surface. Outer ones of the cylindrical shield members have each an end surface inclined with respect to the center axis of the aperture so as to form inclined electric fields effective to converge the outer beams to one point to which the central beam converges.

    摘要： A lithographic silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described which scarcely exhibits colored fringe and black pepper, forms halftone dots of good quality whether a fresh or an exhausted developer is used for processing thereof, and which scarcely shows a drop in sensitivity even when a developer contaminated by a fixing solution is used; said material comprises a support and at least one lithographic silver halide emulsion layer, and containing in said emulsion layer or in another hydrophilic colliodal layer which does not contain silver halide emulsion at least one compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein M represents hydrogen, an alkali metal ion or --NH.sub.4.sup..sym. ; X represents --SO.sub.2 NHR', --COOM', --SO.sub.3 M', --OH or --CONH.sub.2, wherein M' represents hydrogen, an alkali metal ion or --NH.sub.4.sup..sym. ; and R' represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and n represents 1 or 2.
