摘要： The inlet end of an axial flow rotor feeds high volumes of crop materials at low crop pressures toward the threshing and separating areas to avoid bunching of crop materials or plugging of the rotor. A cylindrical core tube at the inlet end of the rotor is of substantially reduced diameter compared to the generally cylindrical threshing or separating portions of the rotor. A frusto-conical portion connects the core tube to the threshing portion for a ramp-like transition of crop materials near the threshing area. The flighting, which is helically disposed about the core tube, feeds the materials toward special threshing elements which rise from the frusto-conical portion and a connecting portion of the core tube to a height approximately equal to that of a plurality of rasp bars affixed to the threshing portion for uniformly dispersing the crop materials against the rotor casing. The threshing elements on the frusto-conical portion have coarse protrusions which are particularly effective in removing lumps and bunches from the materials, for threshing corn, and for combing cereal grain crops into a uniform and thin mat of fast-moving crop material before threshing by the rasp bars.

摘要： An electrical connector receptacle for mounting within an explosion proof enclosure includes a flange portion having a first side, a second side and a centrally disposed aperture. Also included is a cylindrical member integrally formed with the flange portion and extending away from the first side. Further included is a plurality of apertures extending from the first side to the second side, wherein the plurality of apertures are configured to receive a mechanical fastener for mounting the electrical connector receptacle to a printed wiring board. Yet further included is an o-ring groove disposed within the first side and spaced radially outwardly from an outer surface of the cylindrical member. Also included is a plurality of mounting feet integrally formed with the flange portion and extending away from the second side to form an electrical bonding path to the printed wiring board.

摘要： A method of texturing a soft prosthetic implant shell, such as a silicone breast implant shell. A soft prosthetic implant with a textured external surface layer of silicone elastomer and having an open-cell structure is made by adhering and then dissolving round salt crystals. The resulting roughened surface has enhanced physical properties relative to surfaces formed with angular salt crystals. An implant having such a textured external surface layer is expected to help prevent capsular contraction, to help prevent scar formation, and to help in anchoring the implant within the body.

摘要： An inflatable tissue expander, suitable for implantation in a breast, is provided. The tissue expander includes a puncturable, self-sealing anterior portion forming a fillable cavity, and posterior portion that is puncture resistant. The anterior portion includes a silicone-based elastomer material having a mesh embedded therein. The posterior portion includes a first composite guard and a second composite guard, each composite guard including an arrangement of puncture resistant members and a flexible substrate having a first side on which the puncture resistant members are disposed in a spaced apart fashion.

摘要： Implantable prosthesis, components of prosthesis, and methods of making same are provided. The methods generally include the steps of providing an implant shell, applying a curable fluid composition to the shell to form a coating thereon and applying a particulate component to the composition. The composition is a mixture, for example, an emulsion, containing a silicone-based elastomer dispersion and droplets of a suspended leachable agent. After the elastomer is stabilized and cured, the particulate component and leachable agent are removed, resulting in an implantable member having a porous, open-cell surface texture designed to be effective in reducing incidence of capsular formation or contraction.

摘要： A dispatch console for a radio system is disclosed, where the radio system includes an audio switching tower which routes audio communications between a switching device and audio input/output devices at the dispatch console. The dispatch console includes a personal computer for communicating command messages to the audio switching tower, the personal computer storing information on numerous audio communications initiated and terminated in the radio system. The dispatch console further includes a device connected to the personal computer permitting an operator of said display console to interface therewith and a display screen segmented into a plurality of windows. At least one of the windows represents a communication module presenting information with respect to a particular talk group of the radio system, with each communication module including a callee area for displaying an alias for the talk group programmed on the communication module, a caller area for displaying an alias for a radio unit in the talk group when a call from the radio unit has been activated, a call area for displaying a call type for a call activated by a radio unit in the talk group, and a list box displaying a predetermined number of radio units in the talk group which have activated calls.
