摘要： A rocket engine with an augmentation gas system that improves performance of the hypergolic combustion process. The augmentation gas system includes an acoustic cavity manifold mounted between an outer perimeter of an injector face and the combustion chamber. The augmentation gas system injects an augmentation gas active element such as hydrogen or an inactive element such as helium to provide significantly enhanced boundary layer coolant effect to reduce heat loading on the combustion chamber wall and enhance the specific impulse of the rocket engine.

In one aspect of the present invention, the remote control sends a mute command to an appliance under control and listens for a voice command during an ensuing predetermined time period. In a further aspect of the present invention, the remote control determines which one of a plurality of unmute sequences is to be transmitted.

摘要： Multiple Array Management Functions (AMFs) are connected to multiple redundancy groups over a storage area network (SAN), such as a fiber-channel based SAN. The multiple AMFs share management responsibility of the redundancy groups, each of which typically includes multiple resources spread over multiple disks. The AMFs provide concurrent access to the redundancy groups for associated host systems. When a host requests an AMF to perform an operation on a resource, the AMF synchronizes with the other AMFs sharing control of the redundancy group that includes the resource to be operated on, so as to obtain a lock on the resource. While performing the operation, the AMF send replication data and state information associated with the resource such that if the AMF fails, any of the other AMFs are able to complete the operation and maintain data reliability and coherency.

摘要： Provided is a scent dispenser having two tubular, slidably engageable members. Openings in the inner tubular member allow scent to be released into the surrounding environment when the tubular members are in an extended position. An absorbent material may be contained within the dispenser to carry a preferred scent. Cooperating, nestable retaining detents, or, alternatively, a selectively removably positionable elastomeric O-ring, allow the outer tubular member of the dispenser to be held in any of a plurality of extended positions. A cord may be attached to the top of the outer tubular member to allow the user to hang the dispenser in a desired location. The scent dispenser may be provided in a bright color to allow the dispenser further to function as a highly visible marker for measuring the effective range of a hunter's weapons.
