Abstract: Methods and systems for enhanced transmission and reception of system information (SI) are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for transmitting/receiving SI, includes: transmitting/receiving a first SI message in a plurality of first SI windows, each first SI window having a first length and a first periodicity; and transmitting/receiving the first SI message in a plurality of second SI windows, each second SI window having a second length and a second periodicity, wherein each second SI window follows immediately after a respective first SI window to provide a plurality of first extended SI windows, each first extended SI window having the second periodicity and an increased length equal to the sum of the first and second lengths.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices related to time-domain transmission scheduling for user equipment that is capable of operating in dual connections are described. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication is described. The method includes receiving, at a wireless device, information indicating a time-domain transmission pattern, determining a periodic transmission pattern based on the time-domain transmission pattern and an offset of the wireless device, and transmitting data, to the communication node, according to the periodic transmission pattern.

Abstract: Techniques are described to improve the transmission and reception of access signals such as synchronization signal block (SSB), system information, or paging message. As an example, a wireless communication method is disclosed where a network node, such as a base station, determines a first set of transmission times and/or a second set of transmission times to transmit access signals. The network node transmits the access signals over a wireless channel using the first set of transmission times and/or the second set of transmission times. The access signals can include system information, paging message, or synchronization signal block.
