Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for reducing Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in signal transmissions are described. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method includes determining, for an input sequence, an output sequence corresponding to an output of a convolutional modulation between a plurality of values and an intermediate sequence. The intermediate sequence is generated by inserting a set of coefficients between coefficients of the input sequence. Each non-zero coefficient of the set of coefficients is inserted between a first adjacent coefficient and a second adjacent coefficient. Each non-zero coefficient has a power that is between a first power of the first adjacent coefficient and a second power of the second adjacent coefficient and a phase value between a first phase value of the first adjacent coefficient and a second phase value of the second adjacent coefficient. The method also includes generating a waveform using the output sequence.

Abstract: Methods and Apparatus for processing data encoded by low density parity check (LDPC) in a communication system are disclosed herein. The method comprises: encoding an information bit sequence based on an LDPC coding scheme to obtain an encoded bit sequence; generating a master bit sequence based on the encoded bit sequence; selecting a subset of the master bit sequence according to a rate matching rule to obtain a rate matched bit sequence; interleaving the rate matched bit sequence according to a predetermined index sequence to obtain a to-be-transmitted bit sequence; and transmitting the to-be-transmitted bit sequence to a second node.

Abstract: A transmitting method for HARQ information comprising: a first node detecting N transmission blocks received from a second node and generating M bits of HARQ information according to the detection result; the M bits of HARQ information being used to indicate the receiving status of the N transmission blocks; there being M2 bits among the M bits, for indicating the positions of k erroneous transmission blocks in the N transmission blocks, M2 the length type of M2 including a first length type or a second length type; the first length type indicating that the value for M2 is predefined, and the second length type indicating that the value for M2 is determined based on k; and the first node transmitting the HARQ information to the second node. The above technical solution does not require strong correlation for the channel, and can conserve transmission resources and improve system throughput while reducing the HARQ information feedback overhead.
