    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a first transparent substrate including a first surface and a second surface, a color filter layer formed on the first surface of the first transparent substrate, a first alignment film formed on the color filter layer, and a first electrode interlayered in the color filter layer. The second substrate includes a second transparent substrate comprising a third surface and a fourth surface, a second electrode and a third electrode formed on the third surface of the second transparent substrate sequentially, and a second alignment film is formed on the third electrode. The second electrode and the third electrode are arranged at different insulation layers respectively and electrically insulated with each other. The LCD device of the present invention has an improved transmittance and a fast response time.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a transmission mode switching device and a 2D/3D switchable display apparatus. The transmission mode switching device comprises a first substrate on which a first transparent electrode is configured, a second substrate on which a second transparent electrode is configured, and a transmission mode switching layer located between the first and second substrates and formed by materials with isotropic optical properties. The transmission mode switching layer is switched between a first transmission mode in which the direction of light propagation is not altered and a second transmission mode in which the direction of light propagation is altered in response to switching of the electric field applied between the first and second transparent electrodes. The transmission mode switching device of the present invention is suitable for multiple modes, with low power consumption.

    摘要: A TFT array substrate includes a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of pixel regions. Each pixel region includes a pixel electrode, a first TFT, a pull alignment electrode, a second TFT, a first and second push alignment electrodes, so that when a voltage is applied to the TFT array substrate, a transverse pull electric field is formed between the pixel electrode and the pull alignment electrode, and transverse push electric fields are formed respectively between the first push alignment electrode and the pixel electrode and between the second push alignment electrode and the pixel electrode. Accordingly, liquid crystal molecules of the TFT array substrate can respond quickly and it is not necessary to configure bumps on a color filter substrate, thereby improving contrast ratio, simplifying manufacture process and reducing costs.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a stereoscopic image display system and a method of controlling the same. An eye tracking module locates current 3D spatial positions of the viewer's eyes, and generates the information of both left and right eyes' current 3D spatial positions. A control module controls a display device that can alter the direction of the light outputted, and outputs images on the display device in time multiplex mode. The light containing the left eye image is outputted to the position of left eye instead of right eye at one time point, and the light containing the right eye image is outputted to the position of right eye instead of left eye at another time point, so that a stereoscopic image is perceived according to the parallax theory. The present invention enlarges the visual range of stereoscopic image and achieves a better stereoscopic image visual experience for viewers.

    摘要: Liquid crystal depositing devices and methods that monitor the amount of the liquid crystal available for dispensing and supplement the liquid crystal when the device detects that the amount available is running low. One exemplary liquid crystal depositing device includes a liquid crystal dispensing container, a liquid crystal nozzle, a liquid crystal sensor, and a liquid crystal supplementing container. The liquid crystal nozzle deposits the liquid crystal from said liquid crystal container to the liquid crystal display substrate. The liquid crystal sensor is configured to monitor an amount of liquid crystal inside the liquid crystal dispensing container. The liquid crystal supplementing container is configured to supply liquid crystal to the liquid crystal dispensing container when the liquid crystal sensor detects that the amount of liquid crystal in the dispensing container has fallen below a predetermined amount. In one exemplary method, a detected amount of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal dispensing container is compared to a predetermined sufficient liquid crystal amount. The liquid crystal in the liquid dispensing crystal container is supplemented when the liquid crystal amount in the liquid crystal dispensing container is below the predetermined sufficient liquid crystal amount. The liquid crystal is deposited onto a liquid crystal display substrate when the liquid crystal amount in the liquid crystal dispensing container is above the predetermined sufficient liquid crystal amount.

    摘要: A touch display panel with switchable viewing angles includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate is provided with a viewing angle control electrode. The second substrate is provided with a common electrode and a sensing circuit layer. The common electrode includes a plurality of electrode blocks arranged in an array and insulated from each other. The sensing circuit layer includes a plurality of sensing lines insulated from each other. The sensing lines are electrically connected to the electrode blocks in a one-to-one correspondence, respectively. Each frame of the display panel is divided into a display period and a touch period. The electrode blocks of the common electrode are used for image display during the display period, and the electrode blocks of the common electrode are used for touch sensing during the touch period.

    摘要: An LCD with switchable viewing angle includes a first substrate, second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate is provided with a first electrode and a second electrode. In an embodiment, the first electrode is a pixel electrode, and the second electrode is a common electrode. The second substrate is provided with a third electrode. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are positive liquid crystal molecules. When a first bias voltage is applied to the third electrode, the LCD is displayed with a wide viewing angle; and when a second bias voltage greater than the first bias voltage is applied to the third electrode, the LCD is displayed with a narrow viewing angle.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device and a viewing angle switching method are provided. The liquid crystal display device includes a display panel, a backlight source, and a light adjustment liquid crystal film disposed between the display panel and the backlight source. The light adjustment liquid crystal film includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate disposed opposite to the upper substrate, and a liquid crystal layer located between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The upper substrate is provided with an upper electrode on a side thereof facing the lower substrate. The lower substrate is provided with a lower electrode on a side thereof facing the upper substrate. The light adjustment liquid crystal film is configured to change a backlight exit angle of the light emitted by the backlight after passing through the display panel by applying a voltage between the upper electrode and the lower electrode.
