摘要: A first substrate includes a base material having transmissivity, a light-shielding body having a grid pattern in a plan view seen from a thickness direction of the base material, a pixel electrode, a first insulator having transmissivity that overlaps the light-shielding body in the plan view and is disposed between the base material and the pixel electrode, and a second insulator having transmissivity that overlaps the pixel electrode in the plan view and is disposed in contact with the first insulator between the base material and the pixel electrode. The second insulator has a refractive index greater than a refractive index of the first insulator. An interface between the second insulator and the first insulator has an inclined portion inclined away from a central axis along a thickness direction of the second insulator from the incident side of light toward an emitting side.

摘要: A pixel array substrate includes a substrate, pixel units, and signal lines. Each pixel unit includes an active device, a first insulation layer, a common electrode, a second insulation layer, and a pixel electrode. The common electrode is disposed on the first insulation layer and has openings. The pixel electrode is disposed on the second insulation layer and overlapped with the common electrode. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the active device. The signal lines are disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the active device, respectively. The openings include at least one first opening, and an orthogonal projection of the at least one first opening on the substrate is located between orthogonal projections of the pixel electrodes on the substrate and orthogonal projections of the signal lines on the substrate. A display panel including the pixel array substrate is also provided.

摘要: The current disclosure relates to a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including but not limited to, a first substrate and a second substrate which are opposite to each other to form a cell, and liquid crystal molecules and a reflective prism disposed between the first and second substrates. The first substrate and/or the second substrate is provided thereon with a control electrode configured to generate an electric field to control the liquid crystal molecules to form a liquid crystal prism. The first substrate is further provided thereon with a first light-blocking layer which has an orthogonal projection on the first substrate staggered with an orthogonal projection of the reflective prism on the first substrate.

摘要: A display panel includes a plurality of pixel units arranged in an array and each including a light transmitting zone and a light shielding zone arranged on a circumference of the light transmitting zone. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to each other. The first substrate includes a black matrix and a first common electrode covering the black matrix. The black matrix is arranged in the light shielding zone. The second substrate includes a plurality of main pixel electrodes, which correspond, in a one-to-one manner, to the pixel units and face exactly to the light transmitting zones. In each individual pixel unit, the black matrix has edges facing the light transmitting zone and provided with notches. The first common electrode has a first portion that covers the notches and flush with a second portion thereof located in the light transmitting zone.
