    Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) display system is provided. The 3D display system includes a display device and an optical device. The display device is configured to display sets of images with parallax for a 3D display. The optical device has electric-signal-controllable optical parameters and is coupled with the display device. Further, the optical device is configured to enable directional light transmission so as to separate lights of the sets of images into predetermined viewing directions to effect the 3D display.

    Abstract: A 2D/3D switching system contains a 2D/3D switching device having a display area for selectively processing lights from 2D images and 3D images. The 2D/3D switching device includes a first substrate, a plurality of first electrodes formed on the first substrate, a second substrate, a plurality of second electrodes formed on the second substrate and arranged corresponding to the plurality of first electrodes and separated with a distance, and a liquid crystal layer placed between the first substrate and the second substrate to provide the display area. A driving unit is configured to provide driving voltages to the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes. The driving unit applies a plurality of voltages on the first electrodes and the second electrodes to enable the liquid crystal layer to operate in one of a full-screen 2D mode, a full-screen 3D mode, and a 2D/3D mode.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) display system is provided. The 3D display system includes a backlight plate, a display panel, a light-splitting device, and a polarization state controller. The display panel is configured to display a two-dimensional (2D) image in a 2D mode or to display a 3D image in a 3D mode. The light-splitting device is configured to an arrangement module configured to pass the 2D image in the 2D mode, and to separate the 3D image into a left image and a right image.     Abstract: An object tracking method is provided. The method includes obtaining current position coordinates of a tracked object for a first time using a tracking algorithm and initializing a filter acting on a time-varying system based on the obtained current position coordinates. The method further includes updating a system state through the filter acting on the time-varying system when the tracking algorithm outputs new current position coordinates of the tracked object with a spatial delay and comparing speed of the tracked object to a compensation determination threshold. Further, the method includes when the speed of the tracked object is greater than the compensation determination threshold, compensating the new current position coordinates of the tracked object with the spatial delay through the filter acting on the time-varying system, and outputting the compensated current position coordinates.

    Abstract: An image processing method and an image processing device are provided.
