Abstract:
A preferred implementation of the invention is a spray gun extension apparatus comprising a stock and a handle. In a preferred implementation the handle is a twist-style throttle handle. The invention further comprises a trigger capable of activating a spray gun. In one embodiment the trigger is connected to the handle. In yet another embodiment the trigger is connected to the stock. A rod is connected to a first rod bearing and a second rod bearing. These rod bearings are commonly known as heim joints. Further disclosed herein is a method of using a throttle-style spray gun extension apparatus.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide cleaning apparatus (200) comprising: an applicator portion (201) having a fluid delivery outlet through which cleaning fluid heated in a boiler (210) may be dispensed; a boiler (210) through which a flow of cleaning fluid may be established from a fluid source (202) to the fluid delivery outlet of the applicator portion (201); and a heater portion (220), the boiler (210 comprising a heater conduit through which a flow of heated gases generated by the heater portion (220) may be established thereby to heat cleaning fluid in the boiler (210), the boiler (210 comprising a pair of hollow tubes being an inner tube arranged to pass through an outer tube, the boiler (210) being arranged wherein cleaning fluid to be heated may be heated in a reservoir provided between the tubes, the inner tube defining at least a portion of the heater conduit.
Abstract:
A sprayer apparatus for applying treatment liquid to a landscaping material. The sprayer apparatus includes first and second spray outlets and an agitator therebetween. In use, the landscape material to be treated is first sprayed, the material is agitated (e.g., turned), and a second spray of treatment liquid is applied to the landscape material. Also described are methods for applying a treatment, such as colorant, to an installed landscaping material (such as wood chips or mulch), reducing the need to replace worn or weathered material. The methods include applying a pre-treatment to protect elements proximate the landscape material that are not to be treated, applying a treatment liquid to the landscaping material by spraying, and then rinsing any elements proximate the landscape material that may have be inadvertently and undesirably treated.
Abstract:
A cartridge for a liquid reservoir of a plant-treatment product sprayer is disclosed. The cartridge includes a liquid permeable pouch defining a pre-sealed internal volume, and a plant-treatment formulation in the internal volume. A method of providing a plant-treatment formulation to a liquid reservoir of a plant-treatment product sprayer, and a cartridge for dispensing a plant-treatment formulation are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Various embodiments provide a bicycle hydration and misting system or apparatus. Example embodiments include a manual (e.g., trigger-activated) or automated (e.g., valve-activated) system that is self-contained, small, and light-weight. Various embodiments improve safety, allow convenient interchangeability of the fluid reservoir, and enable easy installation on a bicycle with or without a mounting system on the bicycle itself. Embodiments also allow the rider to select a variety of spray types, stream, spray, or mist depending on the intended use or amount of fluid desired for each release. The various embodiments provide for an improved cooling fluid delivery system of design simplicity, ease of use, and interchangeability that allows a cyclist an evaporative cooling concept safely, efficiently and conveniently, while riding in conditions of elevated or extreme temperatures.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a sprayer with a reservoir for a fluid, such as for a pesticide, with a pump device for pressurizing the fluid, whereby the pump device includes a pump drive, which is movably coupled to a pump piston by means of a pump connecting rod, whereby the pump connecting rod features a first connecting rod part and a second connecting rod part, whereby in order to connect the first connecting rod part and the second connecting rod part, at least one connecting device is provided, by means of which the connecting rod parts can be interlocked in at least two different latching levels.
Abstract:
A liquid herbicide applicator includes a length adjustable handle member and a reservoir removably coupled to the handle member, the reservoir defining an inlet for receiving a liquid and an outlet from which to dispense liquid. The applicator includes a valve assembly coupled to the reservoir outlet operative between an open configuration that allows the liquid to flow through the outlet and a closed configuration that prevents the liquid from flowing through the outlet. The valve assembly is biased toward the closed configuration. A dispenser assembly having a cap portion is operatively coupled to the valve assembly and includes an application portion connected to the cap portion, the cap portion being selectively movable closer to the valve assembly so as to urge the valve assembly to the open configuration and away from the valve assembly so to allow the valve assembly to return to the closed configuration.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a fluid dispensing assembly for operable coupling to a fluid supply. The fluid dispensing assembly has an adjustable guide spaced apart from a second end region for guiding the correct placement of the second end region relative a target such that the fluid is dispensed for adequate coverage of the target. The adjustable guide is permitted to selectively and reversibly engage with a locating formation in predetermined position such that an Associate is able to assume an ergonomically-friendly body posture during use. As such, the adjustable guide aims to provide an Associate with a means to dispense fluid at a target at the correct distance and angle relative the target while maintaining their body posture in an ergonomically-friendly position. By utilizing the adjustable guide, the Associate is able to adjust the guide such that a right-hand dominant Associate may address the target in an ergonomically-friendly body position which would otherwise be an ergonomically-friendly body posture for a left-hand dominant Associate and vise versa.
Abstract:
A paint sprayer includes a frame, a motor supported by the frame, a pump operably coupled to the motor to draw paint from a paint source and pressurize the paint, and a blower supported by the frame and operable to discharge pressurized air into the pressurized paint discharged by the pump.
