摘要： A smaller two-wheeled trailer is mounted behind and suspended from a larger two-wheeled trailer, with the wheels of the smaller slightly above ground level, in easily and controllably disconnectable combination. The smaller trailer has the tongue removed and ordinarily stowed out of the way for subsequent separate use of the trailer. Short rigid support members extend forwardly from the smaller trailer and are attached to the back of the larger trailer so as to be pivotal in at least the vertical plane while attached. Flexible support means extend down and back from upstanding support members on the larger trailer to attaching means on the smaller trailer. Taking in the flexible support means or moving the upper end of the upstanding support means forward raises the smaller trailer off the ground, in which position it becomes legally transportable in combination with the larger trailer which is preferably provided with a longitudinally slidably adjustable axle assembly.

The cover may have a fabric having a top side that is adapted to shed precipitation and a bottom side that, when the boat cover is in an attached state to the boat, at least a portion of the bottom side faces a portion interior of the boat. One or more longitudinal straps and one or more lateral straps may support the fabric on its bottom side. In the attached state the straps support the fabric such that a semi-rigid rib structure beneath the boat cover is formed to pull the boat cover taut over the boat.

摘要： Apparatus and methods relating to an adaptable boat trailer for safely and gently storing, transporting, launching, and recovering a boat. The boat may be a wooden pleasure boat from 18 to 34 feet in length. The adaptable boat trailer comprises a trailer frame, a cover assembly, a rear suspension assembly having wheels, and a front suspension assembly. The cover assembly may include a fixed cabin and a retractable tarp assembly rearward of the fixed cabin. The front suspension assembly is configured for independently raising and lowering the front end of the adaptable boat trailer to clear a hump on a ramp, for example. The rear suspension assembly is configured for raising and lowering the rear end of the trailer frame to launch or recover the boat and escape a washout. A rescue flange may be included forward of the wheels to assist in rescue.

摘要： An evacuation cabin includes an upper housing and a lower housing. The upper housing has a joining portion along a bottom edge of the upper housing and an opening at middle of one side of the upper housing for receiving an upper part of a water-sealable door. The lower housing has a joining portion corresponding and sealed to the joining portion of the upper housing such that the upper housing and the lower housing are sealed integrally and water-sealably, and an opening corresponding to the opening of the upper housing and for receiving a lower part of the water-sealable door. There are accommodated in the lower housing a power source acting as a weight to lower the center of gravity of the evacuation cabin so as to maintain the evacuation cabin in a stable condition when water floods the ground. A chassis, provided underneath the evacuation cabin, is mounted with an axle for installing wheels so that the evacuation cabin can stand stationary or be transported as a trailer by a mobile.
