Abstract:
Our patent application applies to a new design concept, which employs a very simple rolling rack arrangement to collect commercial and home garbage and trash using standard disposable trash bags. The basic idea revolves around the concept that clean up is significantly simplified with a rack which can be rolled up to the collection point used and then simply stored away when no longer in use via a simple folding arrangement. The rack is to be made of standard tubing and standard commercially available casters. The entire assembly is easy to clean and store and can be used by the average homemaker or commercial establishment handling garbage of all kinds. Significant advantages are cleanliness in that the rack assembly is easy to clean and therefore sanitary, the garbage is protected with a plastic cover to retain fumes and odors and in general afford a clean appetence.
Abstract:
A laundry basket system has a laundry housing with a base that extends to a base perimeter, and an upwardly extending wall that extends upwardly from the base perimeter of the base to form a laundry receiving chamber. The upwardly extending wall extends to a top perimeter that forms an upper opening. An access opening in the upwardly extending wall allows access into the laundry receiving chamber. A plurality of pallets each have a generally planar body that extends to an outer perimeter, the outer perimeter being sized and shaped to slidably abut the inner surface of the upwardly extending wall, so that the plurality of pallets may be slidably inserted through the upper opening of the upwardly extending wall, in a horizontal configuration, and into the laundry receiving chamber. A hanger assembly may also be mounted on the laundry housing.
Abstract:
An apparatus for supporting a laundry hamper is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a supporting rod having one or more sides arranged to form a closed frame, one or more mounting brackets, and means for securing the mounting bracket to a door of a cabinet, such as a tilt-out cabinet. Each of the mounting brackets comprises a channel with a recess within which a portion of the supporting rod is inserted therein. The channel comprises a first channel segment and a second channel segment separated by a gap. Each of the first and second channel segments comprises a first side wall and an opposing second side wall integral with a bottom wall to define a generally U-shaped structure. The bottom wall of the first channel segment faces a side opposite from the side at which the bottom wall of the second channel segment faces. Aspects of the invention relate to a laundry hamper assembly comprising the apparatus and at least one laundry hamper being supported thereon.
Abstract:
A modular cart that includes a main cart, a first modular cart frame, and a second modular cart frame is described. The main cart further includes a handle end with a first base component that is mechanically coupled to at least one caster. The main cart also includes a first bar disposed on a distal end of the first base component that extends to a second base component, in which the first bar is orthogonal to the second base component and the first base component. A first bay perimeter is bounded by the first base component, the first bar and the second base component. The main cart further includes a second bay perimeter is bounded by a second base component, a second bar and a third base component.
Abstract:
A household and shopping laundry cart has a cart basket (1) with a first-side wheel (7) and a second-side wheel (8) that are positioned on sides aft of a linear center. A tow handle (10) is pivotal vertically on a tow hitch (11) on a front-end wall (4). A stair-climber incline (14) is extended slantingly downward and rearward from near a front of a bottom (6) of the cart basket to the wheels. A front support (15) proximate a front-bottom edge holds the cart basket level when stopped on a horizontal surface and aids in stair climbing. A basket cover (13) is extendable from a first top side (53) to a second top side (56). Side walls of the basket are tapered inwardly from-top-to-bottom for telescopic storage of a plurality of the household and shopping laundry carts.
Abstract:
A laundry cart including a basket that can be broken down into individual components, assembled and disassembled for shipment is disclosed. The individual components can be packaged economically with a relatively low profile. The laundry cart further has modular and interchangeable front and rear panels that may alternatively have a straight or a curved top cross-bar. An upper hanger assembly of the invention, as well as a lower shelf assembly, may also be broken down into individual components for shipping.
Abstract:
A laundry cart system includes a frame assembly that has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and second portions have a pair of vertical support members, a pair of lateral support members extend between the pair of vertical support members, an upper pair of longitudinal support members and a lower pair of longitudinal support members. The second upper pair of longitudinal support members has a spaced substantially parallel relationship with the second lower pair of longitudinal support members. The first portion is couplable to the second portion for forming a support frame has a rectangular cross-section.
