The conveying device (33) can be mounted on the supporting framework (38), and the supporting framework (38) and the conveying device (33) form a conveying corridor (32) in which the vehicle components (31) can be transported from an input point to an output point. The supporting framework (38) is mounted on the floor (47) of the assembly plant by bearing means that form, between the underside of the supporting framework (38) and the surface of the floor (47), a free space that is suitable for component assembly and/or for component transport and that is accessible on foot and/or on wheels, at least one bearing means being designed in the manner of a column gantry (39) that comprises at least two support columns (41a,b; 40a,b) whose lower ends are attached to the floor (47) of the assembly plant. At least one transverse bridge (42) is mounted between two support columns (41, 40) in each case, and the supporting framework (38) is arranged on the upper side of the transverse bridge (42).

摘要： A belt conveyor apparatus includes a conveyor frame with a belt support, a belt, a belt drive, and containment side members releasably attached to the conveyor frame. Specifically, a linear first slot and arcuate second slot on the conveyor frame engage permanently-attached first and second studs on the containment side members to allow rotational assembly of the containment side member to the conveyor frame. The path of engagement prevents the studs from being removed simultaneously from respective slots. As a result, the first and second studs will wedgingly bind and thus cannot be simultaneously pulled out of the first and second slots when the containment side member is biased toward a release direction. Related methods are also disclosed.

摘要： A belt conveyor apparatus includes a tube sloping from a hopper at the lower intake. A belt passes along a floor of the hopper then up through the tube. The hopper floor has edge portions curving upward such that as the belt moves along the floor, side portions of the belt curve upward. Hopper sidewalls extend upward and outward from bottom inner edges thereof located above right and left sides of the middle portion of the belt, and outer edges of the belt are thus located under the sidewalls. Seal strips are to the sidewalls with lower edges sealing to right and left sides of the middle portion of the belt such that pockets are formed under the sidewalls between the curved side portions of the belt and the seal strips. A trap opening in the tube also allows oilseeds to drop out of the tube from under the belt.

摘要： A belt conveyor for grain or other granular materials has an enclosed housing, a bottom return, an infeed end and a discharge head. The conveyor uses a special high angle lift belt with projecting lugs of approximately two inches high and having cooperating angled elements that form material receiving pockets. The lugs are arrayed on the belt in meshing relationship so that as the belt curls laterally within the housing, the lugs prevent backflow of materials at least up to a forty degree angle when the conveyor is running. The bottom return section of the conveyor has a plurality of belt supporting rollers extending transversely across the return section. The belt lugs are also arranged so that upper ends of the lugs form a longitudinally and transversely continuous supportive surface for low friction running support by the belt return rollers.

摘要： A hydraulic actuator is provided within a belt-type agricultural conveyor for controlling the position of the tension roller of the conveyor belt, together with a hydraulic controller which supplies a controlled pressure of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic actuator. In this manner, a consistent tension can be applied to the endless conveyor belt in an automated manner through a large range of movement so that the maintenance step of periodically removing a section of the belt as the belt stretches can be minimized in frequency. Furthermore, the endless belt is always operated at an optimum tension for extending the life of the belt. The hydraulic actuator also enables the tension to be removed from the belt in a simple manner by displacing a switch to remove tension from the belt whenever the conveyor is not in use for yet further extending the life of the conveyor belt.
