    摘要: A package of a continuous strip of material includes a plurality of parallel side by side stacks each containing a length of the strip which is folded back and forth such that each folded portion of the stack is folded relative to the next portion about a line transverse to the strip and such that the side edges of the strip portions are aligned. The strip is continuous through each stack and is connected by a splice from the end of one stack to beginning of the next stack. The package is compressed to reduce the height of the stacks and maintained in the compressed condition by an evacuated sealed bag. The fold lines in the package are marked by a machine readable marking so that the strip portions from the package can be cut into strip elements with the cut lines being arranged at the fold lines.

    摘要: In a device for joining strips of wipe materials originating from at least two stacks of packaged materials, a first stack of wipe material which is in use and being used up and a spare stack of wipe material are joined to each other by a joining member placed on an exposed fold of the spare stack to face an exposed fold of the first stack. The joining member includes a component which can be detached after placing the stacks of material one on top of the other and protrudes so that it can be identified and grasped. The joining member includes an adhesive-coated part which is either protected by the detachable component or is in adhesive contact with the exposed fold of the first stack when the detachable component has been removed due to force of gravity pressing the spare stack onto the first stack.

    摘要: The present invention provides a ticket magazine that can be inserted into a drawer of a ticket dispensing machine. The magazine can be loaded with tickets externally from the machine, and provides an element or elements such as one or more bridging fingers and/or a dancer arm to enable the tickets to travel along a more advantageous ticket path with longer curl diameters. Because of the longer curl diameter, the pull force required to peel a ticket from the stack is reduced and remains substantially constant, thereby avoiding ticket jams, mis-cuts and other problems.

    摘要: A package of a strip of material has a plurality of parallel side by side stacks each containing a length of the strip which is folded back and forth such that each folded portion of the stack is folded relative to the next portion about a line transverse to the strip. Preferably, the side edges of the strip portions are aligned. The strip can be continuous through each stack and connected by a splice from the end of one stack to beginning of the next stack. To reduce the height of the stacks, the package is compressed and maintained in the compressed condition by, for example, an evacuated sealed bag. The strip of each stack is formed to have a varying width, for example to form diaper inserts when the strip is cut into individual strip elements. The length of each strip portion of the stack is arranged to equal a whole number of strip elements so that the cut lines can be arranged at the fold lines. The stacks are arranged with the side edges of the strips aligned and the wider parts of one stack nested within a narrower part of the next adjacent stack to minimize the package dimensions.
