摘要: Methods and systems for determining longitudinal position of an elongated web are described. Sensors are used to detect one or more substantially continuous fiducial marks disposed longitudinally on the web. The sensors generate signals associated with the fiducial marks. A position detector receives the signals and determines a longitudinal position of the web using the sensor signals. The fiducial marks may be periodic fiducial marks, such as sine and/or cosine marks on the web and/or may be piecewise continuous marks. The coarse longitudinal position of the web can be determined based on periodically recurring features of the fiducial marks. The fine longitudinal position can be determined based on continuous portions of the fiducial marks between the periodically recurring features.

摘要: A feeding unit from reels (B1, B2) of sheet-like material (F1, F2), in particular but not exclusively printed plastic film with print-position marks for automatic packaging machines, comprising two unrolling shafts (1, 2) of respective reels (B1, B2) of material (F1, F2), for feeding in turn said material towards means (7, 8) for cutting and welding the tail of material of a running out reel (B1) and the head of a fresh, loaded reel (B2). Such means comprise suction, cutting and welding devices (7, 8) movable so as to approach and move away from each other to press the material (F1, F2) over a welding plane (Z). Each device is formed by a group of mutually stacked suction and cutting modules, at least two of such modules having respective guides for cutting means slidable in a transversal direction with the respect to the feeding direction of the material, whereby it is possible to select and adjust the number of modules according to a desired welding height.

摘要: A method for controlling cut-off registration in a printing press having printed webs includes applying print control marks which are invisible to the human eye to the printed webs; passing the webs pass through cut-off register control actuators; assembling the webs into a bundle for cut-off; scanning the webs with sensors to determine the actual positions of the marks; comparing the actual positions with desired positions of the marks; and generating signals for the cut-off register control actuators based on the comparison.

摘要: In a device for joining strips of wipe materials originating from at least two stacks of packaged materials, a first stack of wipe material which is in use and being used up and a spare stack of wipe material are joined to each other by a joining member placed on an exposed fold of the spare stack to face an exposed fold of the first stack. The joining member includes a component which can be detached after placing the stacks of material one on top of the other and protrudes so that it can be identified and grasped. The joining member includes an adhesive-coated part which is either protected by the detachable component or is in adhesive contact with the exposed fold of the first stack when the detachable component has been removed due to force of gravity pressing the spare stack onto the first stack.

摘要: There is provided a packaging apparatus including a mechanism for joining a film from a film roll and a film from another film roll to each other. The packaging apparatus is capable of preventing a joint of the films from suffering a thermal sealing failure thereby increasing production efficiency. Package apparatus (10) includes film supply mechanism (10A) for joining and supplying films (1A, 1B) and packaging mechanism (10C) for producing package bags from the film. Film accumulator (10B) for guiding and holding the film in a meandering fashion is disposed between film supply mechanism (10A) and packaging mechanism (10C). Some of accumulating rollers (21) of film accumulator (10B) are movable to a predetermined position depending on the size of package bags to be manufactured. The length of the film from a position in which the films are joined to each other to a position in which the film is horizontally sealed is changed to prevent the joint between the films from being placed in the position in which the film is horizontally sealed.

摘要: To prevent incorrect recognition of marks on a web, and to lighten a load to memory and arithmetic systems associated with mark recognition, a control apparatus for a printing machine includes a positional relationship acquisition means for previously obtaining a positional relationship between a position in a web traveling direction of each of the marks and a target cutting-off position of the web, and a detection timing control means for controlling mark detection timing so that the detection of each of the marks by a mark detector is performed during a specified period based on the positional relationship.
