摘要:
Compositions, methods, apparatuses, kits, and combinations are described for permanently or temporarily re-designing, decorating, and/or re-coloring a surface. The compositions useful in the present disclosure include a décor product that is formulated to be applied and affixed to a surface. If desired, the décor product may be substantially removed from the surface before being affixed thereto. If a user desires to remove the décor product, the décor product is formulated to be removed by a number of methods including, for example, vacuuming, wet extraction, chemical application, and the like. If the user desires to affix the décor product to the surface in a permanent or semi-permanent manner, the décor product may be affixed to the surface by applying energy thereto in the form of, for example, heat, pressure, emitted waves, an emitted electrical field, a magnetic field, and/or a chemical. The décor product may also be utilized in the form of a kit or in conjunction with a design device, such as a stencil, to control the application of the décor product to create, for example, a pattern on the surface.

Compositions, methods, apparatuses, kits, and combinations are described for neutralizing a stain on a surface. The compositions useful in the present disclosure include a composition that is formulated to be applied and affixed to a surface. If desired, the composition may be substantially removed from the surface to remove a portion or substantially all of the stain before being affixed to the surface. If a user desires to remove the composition from the surface, the composition is formulated to be removed by a number of methods including, for example, vacuuming, wet extraction, chemical application, and the like. If the user desires to affix the composition to the surface in a permanent or semi-permanent manner, the composition may be affixed to the surface by applying energy thereto in the form of, for example, heat, pressure, emitted waves, an emitted electrical field, a magnetic field, and/or a chemical. The compositions may also be utilized in the form of a kit or in conjunction with a design device, such as a stencil, to control the application of the composition to create, for example, a pattern on the surface.
摘要:
A textile substrate is patterned by the selective application of various dyes to the substrate surface in a way that provides desirable, visually apparent enhancements in the area of pattern detail, definition, and color range, through the use of a novel patterning system, including the application of various chemical agents, that makes such enhancements possible. In one embodiment, the patterning system described herein is capable of producing pile-faced textile substrates, useful as floor coverings, that exhibit a unique combination of desirable pattern attributes that have been identified and measured using novel techniques specifically developed for these substrates and pattern attributes.
摘要:
A textile substrate such as patterned carpet for coordinating with other flooring is provided. The substrate includes a multi-colored pattern produced by a process for coloring substrates, using the application of liquid colorants, in which the assignment of color is done on a pixel-by-pixel basis, and corresponding products. Relatively large areas of a substrate may be given the appearance of being uniformly colored by successively replicating or tiling a group of individually colored pixels comprising a repeating unit (i.e., a superpixel) across the substrate surface. The repeating unit is constructed in such a way that if a colorant application error develops, causing one or more pixels within the repeating unit to be colored incorrectly or incompletely, the overall arrangement of the pixels within the repeating unit will render such error less visually apparent when viewed on the substrate. A display rug having a plurality of areas of different patterns, colors or shades is provided. Also, a display rug and a display cover is provided.

A fabric used as outerwear having a stabilized substrate, an adhesive and flock adhered to the substrate with the adhesive. The adhesive is dried and cured, preferably aerated. A waterproof film may be applied either to the substrate or to a lining adjacent the substrate. The flock may be flattened into a laid down condition.

A method for producing a polar fabric knitted upon a loop yarn loom with 100% polyester multi-filament yarn prior to treating the fabric with disperse dyes. The method includes first napping the loop side of the fabricwith a napper having opposed bristles for pulling the fabric loops and then napping the treated side of the fabric with a felting napper to compact the fabric.

A flocked transfer material for attachment to a fabric or other material comprises a release sheet. As the transfer material is cut into a preselected pattern, the release sheet holds unconnected portions of the pattern in the correct relative positions such that the entire pattern may be directly applied to a surface with precise registration in a single-step process.

A predetermined pattern is printed on a surface of a material on which a flock pattern is desired, using crosslinking type synthetic resin as the printing ink and utilizing the printing method such as the screen printing process. A solidly flocked paper is then applied on the pattern formed of the ink, and is heated and pressed together, so that the crosslinking reaction takes place in the synthetic resin. Thus, when the flocked paper is peeled off from the surface of the material, a flock pattern of the predetermined shape is formed thereon.
