Abstract:
Disclosed is a silent, soft-close compact hinge comprising of a hinge cup pivotally connected to a hinge body via a hinge arm. A set of coil springs biases the hinge to a closed position. A damping mechanism is removably attached to the hinge cup and acted on by the hinge arm. A set of spring sleeves are fitted to the coil springs to insulate the movement of the coil springs on the hinge arm providing the closing bias. The hinge body is comprised of three separate plates adjustably connected to each other with cam screws. The position of the hinge body with respect to the hinge arm is adjustable in three directions without the need for removal or loosening of mounting hardware used to attach the hinge body to a furniture piece.
Abstract:
A vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a door and a controller. The door is configured to transition to a partially opened position between a fully opened position and a closed position. The controller is programmed to issue an insufficient door clearance notification in response to an object being detected within a swing radius of the door between the closed position and the partially opened position. The controller may be further programmed to issue the insufficient door clearance notification in response to an object being detected within an egress path from the partially opened position of the door.
Abstract:
A three-dimensionally adjustable pivot set may support a pivotable element such as a door. A pivot set housing has an adjustable pivot hub adjustable in lateral dimensions by set screws passing through the housing, the set screws bearing against the pivot hub and being adapted to move the pivot hub in corresponding independent directions when turned. The pivot set is attached to a pivotable element by an adjustable-height assembly for adjustment in a third dimension.
Abstract:
An actuator for moving a movable furniture part includes at least one movably mounted actuating member for moving the movable furniture part, a spring device for applying a force to the actuating member, and a setting device by which a force of the spring device that acts on the actuating member can be set. The setting device has a threaded portion and a screw nut mounted adjustably between two end positions, and the force of the spring device acting on the actuating member can be set by adjusting the screw nut along the threaded portion. At least one supporting element is provided which relieves the screw nut in at least one of the two end positions of the force of the spring device.
Abstract:
A three-dimensionally adjustable hinge receives a pivotable element. A housing has an adjustable pivot support block inside adjusted in two directions by bolts extending through different walls of the housing and threaded into the pivot support to move the block in two different directions by turning the two different bolts. A supporting wedge with a threaded bolt moves the block the box-like enclosure in a third direction. Alternately, stacked adjusting plates with longitudinal bolts threaded through threaded openings in center sliders move the sliders in center slots aligned in different directions in the different plates to adjust a pivotable element attached to a top plate in two different directions. The plate assembly is pivotally attached to a base by an adjustable height bolt assembly for adjustment in a third direction.
Abstract:
A hinge for cold rooms or glass shutters includes a stationary support structure and a shutter movable between an open position and a closed position. The hinge includes a hinge body with a working chamber; a pivot coupled with the hinge body to rotate between the open and the closed positions of the shutter; a cam element unitary with the pivot; a plunger element sliding in the working chamber and having a slider with an operative face interacting with the cam element; a counteracting elastic member acting on the plunger element to move it between a position proximal to the bottom wall of the working chamber and a position distal therefrom. The cam element includes an elongated appendix extending from the pivot to come in contact engagement with the operative face of the slider. The pivot is placed at one of the side walls of the working chamber.
Abstract:
An Anuba concealed hinge for rotatable moving a door, in particular a reinforced door, connected to a tubular support structure, which includes a rear counterframe anchored to a wall and a front frame anchored to the counterframe The hinge includes a lower fixed half-hinge and an upper movable half-hinge rotatably coupled to each other for rotating about a first longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The lower fixed half-hinge includes a box-shaped hinge body to be concealedly inserted within the tubular support structure. The upper movable half-hinge includes a connecting plate connected to the door to extend from the tubular support structure in the open position and to concealedly retract within the tubular support structure in the closed position. The movable half-hinge includes a pivot defining the first axis unitarily connected to the connecting plate. The hinge body includes a seat internally housing the pivot.

Abstract:
A hinge for the controlled rotatable movement of at least one closing element, such as a door, a shutter or the like, anchorable to a stationary support structure, such as a wall, a floor, a frame or the like. The hinge includes: a hinge body and a pivot reciprocally coupled to rotate around a first axis (X); a working chamber defining a second axis (Y) substantially perpendicular to the first axis (X); a plunger element sliding along the second axis (Y) between a position proximal to the rear wall of the working chamber and a distal position thereto.
