Abstract: A bidirectionally openable console includes side lid portions, a center lid portion positioned between the side lid portions, a first button unit positioned at a front end of the center lid portion, a second button unit positioned at a rear end of the center lid portion, and rotary units configured to be respectively rotated by movement of the first and second button units. The console further includes: fastening units, each of which is constructed such that, when an opening request input is applied to a corresponding button unit, a corresponding rotary unit is rotated to retract a central shaft portion into the center lid portion; hinge units, each of which is rotated together with the center lid portion when the center lid portion is opened, and locking units, each of which restricts movement of the fastening unit when the center lid portion is closed.

Abstract: A vehicle interior component is disclosed. Abstract: A turning member includes a pair of projecting shafts projecting coaxially in a shaft wall member formed in both right and left end portions of a shaft member. The turning member further includes a projecting portion projecting on a tip face of the projecting shaft, wherein a diameter is reduced relative to the projecting shaft. Usually, the projecting shaft is received in a bearing hole of a base member, so that the turning member is axially supported on the base member. When an unexpected external force is applied to the turning member, the projecting shaft is disengaged from the bearing hole so as to absorb an impact, thereby preventing damage to members, and the projecting portion engages the bearing hole and is held in a state received in the bearing hole, thereby preventing the turning member from dropping out.

Abstract: A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing having an opening; a coupling member configured to be coupled to an operation mechanism arranged on a door; an operation lever arranged inside the housing and coupled to the coupling member through the opening; and a cover capable of opening and closing the opening and a coupling point between the coupling member and the operation lever. The cover is separate from the housing and assembled to the housing to be mountable on and demountable from the housing and rotatable between opened and closed states. Each of the housing and the cover includes: a temporary retaining mechanism to temporarily retain the cover in the opened state when the cover is assembled to the housing in a rotatable manner; and a full retaining mechanism configured to retain the cover in the closed state when the cover is rotatably assembled to the housing.
