Abstract:
An apparatus for mounting a bifold door panel, and allowing the panel to run on a track. The apparatus has a trolley that runs within the track and a vertical elongate member that is axially movable relative to the trolley. A hinge or hinge portion is mounted on the elongate member, and a first support is disposed between the trolley and the hinge or hinge portion. The first support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel when the apparatus is mounted on a top region of the panel. A second support is disposed at or toward the terminus of the elongate member and distal to the trolley. The second support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel mounted thereon when mounted on a bottom region of the panel.
Abstract:
An adjustment system comprising: a pivot mount block comprising an aperture configured to allow an upper portion of the pivot bolt to pass through the pivot mount block, the aperture having a lower radius greater than an upper radius so as to form ledge feature; and a bearing inserted in the aperture, wherein the ledge and a lower portion of the bearing is configured to rest on a pivot height-adjustment nut that is on the upper portion of the pivot bolt, or on a second bearing that rests on the pivot-height-adjustment nut on the upper portion of the pivot bolt, and wherein the upper portion of the pivot bolt extends out of the pivot mount block to pivotally support a frame that is mounted on the pivot mount block.
Abstract:
An adjustment system comprising: a pivot nut comprising a pivot nut aperture feature configured to accept the lower portion of a pivot bolt; a floor mount having a slot in which the pivot nut is slidingly engaged so as to have, e.g., simultaneous movement including forward-backward, side-to-side and rotational and axial articulation, the floor mount having a floor mount aperture that aligns with the pivot nut aperture; and a cover configured to mount over the floor mount and engage with the pivot nut so as to move with the pivot nut.
Abstract:
Adjustable hinge for pivotably connecting two elements, said hinge comprising at least one adjustment element, which is formed as an eccentric component and is used to provide the possibility for lateral displacement of the elements against one another perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the hinge, and an adjustment element, which is used to provide the possibility for lateral displacement of the elements against one another in the longitudinal direction of the hinge and is optionally provided with a locking mechanism. The adjustment elements and optionally the locking mechanism are provided with an adjustment crown. A component of the hinge arranged in the longitudinal direction of the hinge is connectable to one of the two elements via a curved flange. Adjustment crown for an adjustment element of a hinge.

Abstract:
To the top or bottom edge of a bi-fold door panel near either its pivoting or channel guided mechanisms is attached a base plate with an opening in it through which is passed into the panel either pivoting or track sliding hardware. A clamping plate is attached to the panel's face at that site to provide strong lateral support so that pin wobble is avoided. A backing plate may also be attached to the opposing side of the panel for reinforcement. It is generally necessary to drill some holes in the door to complete the arrangement. If desired, the plates may be welded to one another along an edge or otherwise manufactured as one-piece unified structure. The hardware may be sold in kits for repair or preventive maintenance. Undertaking the steps involved provides a reliable method toward that end.
Abstract:
A height adjusting mechanism comprises a hinge shaft, an adjusting member for driving the hinge shaft to rotate around an axis of the hinge shaft, a constraining member for constraining a movement of the adjusting member in an axial direction of the hinge shaft and a base with the constraining member fixedly connected thereto, in which the hinge shaft connected with the base can be lifted in the axial direction of the hinge shaft under the driving of the adjusting member. A refrigerator comprising the height adjusting mechanism is also provided.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus providing an adjustable hinge configured for a fence post and gate assembly of a fence. The adjustable hinge includes a first bracket operable to be secured to a first portion of the fence and a second bracket operable to be secured to a second portion of the fence. The adjustable hinge also includes a vertical adjustment component, a horizontal adjustment component, a hinge barrel and a collar. The vertical adjustment component is operably coupled to the first bracket and the horizontal adjustment component is operably coupled to the second bracket. The hinge barrel is operable to be rotatably coupled to the vertical adjustment component and the horizontal adjustment component. The collar is operable to be rotatably coupled to the horizontal adjustment component and is operably coupled to the second bracket. With this arrangement, the hinge barrel is operable to be moveable along the vertical adjustment component to vertically adjust the second bracket with respect to the first bracket. Furthermore, the collar is operable to be moveable along the horizontal adjustment component to horizontally adjust the second bracket with respect to the first bracket.
Abstract:
A secure enclosure for an automated banking machine includes a safe chest portion and a moveable door. The door has mounted thereon a locking bolt work mechanism which is operable to secure the door in a closed position. The door is mounted to the chest with the use of hinge assemblies having respective hinge pins. The hinge assemblies enable the door to be selectively adjusted in up-down and right-left directions. The door can be moved in the up-down direction via an adjustable set screw operative to move vertically relative to a hinge pin. The door can be moved in the right-left direction via adjustable set screws operative to engage and pivot the hinge pin. Thus, the door can be aligned with the chest opening.
