Abstract:
An articulating roller arm assembly comprising a single integral piece cantilever beam with a span section and a throw section, with the span section oriented substantially transverse the throw section. A first distal end of the throw section and a distal end of the span section form a bend of the single integral piece cantilever beam. The articulating roller arm assembly further including a first wheel that is coupled with a first distal end of the throw section, and a second wheel that is coupled with a second distal end of the throw section.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a windbreak system formed by: a set of independent panels that can be controlled individually, by moving the same longitudinally along an upper rail and a lower rail: and a folding door at one of the ends. Each panel and door comprises a rotation shaft and a folding shaft. The panels are moved manually, without bearing on rollers, and the entire weight of the panels rest on two strips of self-lubricating polymers that are inserted into two slots in the lower rail. The upper and lower rails are identical and have a rectangular cross-section and the panels are made from glass.
Abstract:
A rolling mechanism encompassing various sets of Rollo-flex assemblies, as defined in the specification, within a customer supplied track, inside a retractable truck tarpaulin system and rolling and sliding doors. The invention improves on single roller and wheels presently used in retractable tarp system and rolling doors, particularly in moving vehicles by providing substantial savings over current systems, ensuring longer service life, providing a stronger and more stable covering system while protecting the wheels and rollers from the shock loads of road travel.
Abstract:
A device for sliding door leaves with co-planar closure, particularly for furniture and the like, including a bracket system, for connection with each one of said door leaves and with which a first pair of wheels is associated in a downward region. The device includes elements adapted to force the closure arrangement of at least one of said door leaves.
Abstract:
A tilt-up door for a building having an opening, a pair of substantially vertically juxtaposed members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical members at the upper portion and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled to carriages arranged for vertical movement along the vertical members and can have cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. An actuator or actuators can be connected to the carriages to move the carriages along the vertical members. When the actuator or actuators are operated to move the carriages vertically along the members the cam followers can move along the cam surfaces to tilt the door to a horizontal position as the door is moved vertically upward into an open raised position.
Abstract:
A roller for sliding a movable panel includes a housing and a plurality of wheels positioned within the housing. The housing is positionable in a space defined between a bottom surface of the panel and a channel which receives a guided edge of the panel.
Abstract:
Movable partition systems may include a chain guide structure extending along a curved path. The chain guide structure may have a specified maximum width, and may include attachment flanges that project laterally from a central beam beyond laterally outward ends of chain guide members of the chain guide structure by a specified minimum distance. Overhead support systems for movable partition systems may include such chain guide structures. Methods of forming overhead support systems and movable partition systems may include stretch forming a bent chain guide structure. Methods of installing overhead support systems and movable partition systems may include inserting fasteners at least substantially perpendicularly through attachment flanges of a chain guide structure to secure the chain guide structure to an overhead structure.
Abstract:
A window lift arrangement with a driver for a window pane, an inner door panel, positioning instruments for positioning the driver relative to the inner door panel in an installation position for installation of the window pane, wherein the positioning instruments can assume a first and a second position, wherein the positioning instruments in the first position define the installation position and wherein the positioning instruments in the second position enable a movement of the driver for opening and closing the installed window pane.
Abstract:
The lifting window (15) has a windowpane (17) which can be raised and lowered by means of a lifting device and which is guided here by two guide rails (24; 25). In the region of at least one side edge (19), the windowpane (17) is guided, at a point remote from the lifting device, only indirectly by the associated guide rail (24) by means of an adjusting device (38). The adjusting device (38) has a guide strip (39) which interacts with the associated guide rail (24). The guide strip (39) is guided by means of a guide device (41) so as to be moveable at least approximately perpendicularly to the windowpane (17). Said guide strip (39) can be adjusted relative to the windowpane (17) by means of an adjustment device (42) and can be fixed in the desired relative position by means of a fixing device.
Abstract:
A window regulator prevents a carrier plate from derailing from a guide rail by preventing the generation of a force which is applied when the carrier plate and a stopper member collide with each other and which lifts up the carrier plate. In the window regulator, an impact absorption body is installed in a press fitting recess of the carrier plate. The impact absorption body is made of an elastic material for absorbing an impact caused by a collision between the carrier plate and the stopper member that regulates a slide position of the carrier plate. A collision surface formed on the stopper member is tilted toward the carrier plate with respect to a plane that is perpendicular to an axis of the guide rail such that the collision surface pushes the carrier plate down toward the guide rail when it collides with the impact absorbing body.
