    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention is a boiler for boiling water to produce steam, having (1) an evaporating section comprising (a) a combustion chamber for burning fuel with air and generating hot flue gas, (b) an evaporating heat exchanger around the combustion chamber for exchanging heat between the flue gas and water to produce the steam which exits the boiler; and (2) a condensing section comprising (c) a condensing heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the hot flue gas from the combustion chamber and a low-temperature water return having a temperature below approximately 100° F., generating flue gas condensate, which leaves the boiler, wherein the low-temperature water return is heated by the hot flue gas in the condensing heat exchanger before entering the evaporating heat exchanger for additional heating. The disclosed vacuum condensing boilers make vapor vacuum steam more efficient and economical for industrial, commercial, and home applications.

    摘要: Modularized, superheated steam generators comprise a steam module (46), a thermocouple module (41), and an electrode module (45) assembled within a containment enclosure (66). The multi-stage steam module (46) comprises a plurality of first stage pressure vessels (77) surrounding and feeding a second stage pressure vessel (78). The steam module (46) is coaxially surrounded by insulation (48) disposed within a cylindrical shroud (72). The electrode module (45) radiantly heats the steam module with resistive heating elements (119). The thermocouple module (41) includes thermocouples monitoring first stage temperatures within and between pressure vessels (77). PLC computer SCADA software (600) operates the generators. Thermocouple data is analyzed to control heater temperatures, the water feeding system (340), and outputted steam temperature. PLC software (600) provides operating logic (602) establishing a start up subroutine (602), a ramp up subroutine (603), a steady state subroutine (605), and a shut down subroutine (606).

    摘要: The temperature of a monotube boiler is controlled by apparatus that regulates the water flow only. Primary water is supplied to the inlet end of the boiler tube in accordance with the heat furnished to the boiler, and secondary water is injected into the boiler tube at a plurality of points spaced along the tube in accordance with the temperature of the steam as determined by a sensor located just upstream of the outlet end of the tube. One of the injection points, termed the feedback point, is located adjacent to and upstream from the temperature sensor. Feedback water injected at the feedback point has an immediate effect on the temperature sensor which is effective to maintain the steam at a substantially constant output temperature during steady state operation over a wide range in the heat furnished to the boiler, and during transient operation from one state to another caused by rapid and large changes in the heat furnished to the boiler.
