摘要: Modularized, superheated steam generators comprise a steam module (46), a thermocouple module (41), and an electrode module (45) assembled within a containment enclosure (66). The multi-stage steam module (46) comprises a plurality of first stage pressure vessels (77) surrounding and feeding a second stage pressure vessel (78). The steam module (46) is coaxially surrounded by insulation (48) disposed within a cylindrical shroud (72). The electrode module (45) radiantly heats the steam module with resistive heating elements (119). The thermocouple module (41) includes thermocouples monitoring first stage temperatures within and between pressure vessels (77). PLC computer SCADA software (600) operates the generators. Thermocouple data is analyzed to control heater temperatures, the water feeding system (340), and outputted steam temperature. PLC software (600) provides operating logic (602) establishing a start up subroutine (602), a ramp up subroutine (603), a steady state subroutine (605), and a shut down subroutine (606).

摘要: The present invention relates to a pumping device using vapor pressure for supplying water for a power plant, which uses the vapor pressure that is stored in a vapor generator used in the power plant to more quickly and readily supply water to the vapor generator without separately using a high-capacity pump and a condenser. The present invention is characterized by significantly saving equipment cost, because various high-capacity pumps and condensers are not required at all, enhancing energy efficiency and operability by eliminating unnecessary power consumption that is used to operate same, reducing maintenance costs, and actively and efficiently preserving nature and the environment by fundamentally eliminating hot water and sewage, which are byproducts of nuclear or thermal power generation, that are discharged into the ocean without treatment.

摘要: To provide a condensate flow rate control device and a control method for a power plant which improve responsiveness to frequency fluctuations or requested load changes and can suppress frequency fluctuations with precision or improve precision with which output power conforms to requested load instructions. A power plant to which a condensate flow rate control device is adapted includes a deaerator to which condensate generated by a condenser is supplied via a deaerator water level adjustment valve and into which bleed steam from a steam turbine is introduced. The condensate flow rate control device has a water level adjustment unit for executing condensate flow rate control, wherein the water level adjustment unit adjusts pressure in a condensate flow path extending from the deaerator water level adjustment valve to the deaerator so that inputted frequency fluctuations are suppressed or an output value of a generator conforms to inputted requested load changes.

摘要: A water feed controller which can provide for the addition of a preset fixed amount of water to be added after a low water condition is removed. This system provides for a preset fixed amount of water to be added to a boiler above the amount which triggers the low water condition. This generally inhibits excess cycling from the boiler operating at its minimum safe water level as well as inhibiting overfilling of the boiler. Further, there is discussed a water feed controller which can measure the amount of water added over a prior predetermined period (such as 30 days) which serves as a floating window of time so that a leak or other condition resulting in overly frequent filling can be detected quickly.

摘要: The control of the actual liquid level in a boiler is accomplished by using the flow rate of the fuel to the combustion system associated with the boiler to generate a signal which is utilized to bias a control signal generated in response to steam flow rate and the output from a conventional level controller in such a manner that swell and shrink caused by changes in fuel flow rate is compensated for and the desired liquid level is maintained in the boiler.

摘要: A system can quickly cool and de-pressurize a boiler arrangement under non-normal operating conditions such as loss of plant power. A discharge system injects into the furnace a combined stream of steam from a steam discharge system and ambient air, thereby both cooling components of the boiler arrangement and reducing pressure in the steam/water circuit. This reduces or eliminates the additional cost associated with providing extra capacity in a steam drum and/or an independently powered boiler water pump. The system is particularly useful for quickly cooling the U-beams of a circulating fluidized bed boiler during a black plant condition.
