Abstract:
A cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber that can be closed by a door having a multi-pane structure, including at least one inner pane and one front pane. The invention configures the cooking appliance such that the surface temperature on the outer side of the front pane is as low as possible. To this end, the inner pane is embodied in a tray-like manner and is fixed to the front pane by holding elements that are disposed on the inner side of the front pane inside the circumferential edge of the inner pane.
Abstract:
A door for a microwave oven has a rectangular door frame, and a transparent door screen installed on a central area of the door frame. A strip-shaped knob part is formed together with the door frame on the side opposite to a hinge part of the door frame. The door frame forms a grasping hole so as to be capable of being grasped along a plane of the door frame from both sides thereof. Since a user can grasp the knob part from both sides thereof, the door can be opened/closed conveniently without slipping in grasping the knob part. In particular, if an auxiliary pad is attached to the knob part, the knob part can be grasped with a favorable feeling and the slipping is prevented more effectively.
Abstract:
An oven door includes a peripheral frame, an internal transparent pane adhesively secured to the frame and an external transparent pane releasably mounted on the frame. The frame has lower and upper rims formed with openings for the circulation of air through an interspace between the two panes. A profile member is secured to the upper rim of the frame and has a central handle. The profile member has an internal cavity communicating with the openings of the upper rim and with the interior of the oven chamber. First deflector elements within the internal cavity direct a flow of air from the interior of the oven into the interspace. Second deflector elements within the cavity define venturi-type passages for facilitating the escape of air from the interspace.
Abstract:
An oven appliance may include a cabinet, a door, and a restrictor plate. The cabinet may include a top panel and a bottom panel. The cabinet may define an internal chamber between the top panel and the bottom panel. The door may be mounted on the cabinet to selectively restrict access to the internal chamber in a closed position. The door may extend along the vertical direction in the closed position between a top lip and a bottom lip. The handle may be provided on the door proximal to the top lip. The handle may define an upper surface directed away from the bottom lip, the upper surface being a complementary match to the underside surface of the top panel.
Abstract:
A rotating support handle assembly for supporting a bottom-hinged door is disclosed. The rotating support handle assembly may comprise a handle member and a support member. The handle member may rotate from a first position to a second position, and the support member may be configured to contact a floor to provide support to the bottom-hinged door in the second position.
Abstract:
A cooking appliance comprising a main body to accommodate a cooking chamber; a door to open and close the cooking chamber; and a handle mountable on a front of the door, the handle including a contact portion. The door comprises: a door frame; and a front panel arrangeable in front of the door frame so that while the front panel is arranged in front of the door frame, the front panel is in contact with the contact portion of the handle while the handle is mounted on the front of the door, the front panel including a support protrusion that extends toward the door frame from an area of the front panel which corresponds to the contact portion of the handle in contact with the front panel of the door to thereby prevent deformation of the door due to operation of the handle.
