摘要: A radio-frequency transparent window having internal conduits for the passage of cooling fluid is configured for simulating a highly uniform thermal environment for testing a device intended for use in space. The device to be tested is placed within a chamber in which a vacuum condition is maintained by a radio-frequency transparent pressure window under a pressure seal. Within the chamber, the thermal window is positioned adjacent, but not in contact with, the pressure window. A radio frequency signal is capable of passing directly through both the thermal window and the pressure window to permit communication with the device being tested within the housing. The thermal window is not in contact with the device so there in no conduction of heat from the device. Radiant heat transfer may occur from the device to the thermal window.

摘要: A controlling section 41 receives determined temperature and humidity values, set temperature and humidity values, a heating electric power value, and a humidifying electric power value from a body controller 30. A comparison and determination section 46 compares the heating electric power value and the humidifying electric power value with respective predetermined reference electric power values, and when at least one of the heating electric power value or the humidifying electric power value is less than a corresponding one of the reference electric power values, the comparison and determination section 46 outputs an anomaly signal indicating that the cooling capacity of a refrigeration apparatus 22 has been reduced.

摘要: An environmental chamber system and a method for testing a device under test (DUT) include an environmental chamber in which the DUT can be tested. A temperature sensor senses temperature of the DUT, the temperature sensor generating a signal indicative of temperature of the DUT. A controller receives at least one input signal related to at least one of temperature and humidity in the chamber and the signal indicative of temperature of the DUT and provides at least one control signal for adjusting at least one of temperature and humidity in the chamber, such that the temperature of the DUT is not below a dew point of an environment in the chamber in a region of the chamber near the DUT, such that condensation in the environment in the chamber in the region near the DUT does not occur.

摘要: In certain embodiments, a method for cooling includes providing a controller in communication with an auxiliary cooling unit and a primary refrigeration unit. A first chamber temperature measurement associated with an environmental test chamber is received, and the heat load associated with a target temperature is determined. Based on the first chamber temperature measurement and the heat load, it is determined that the auxiliary cooling unit can sustain the target temperature. In response to the determination, the controller is used to transmit a signal to power on the auxiliary cooling unit and a signal to time out the primary refrigeration unit.
