    摘要: An electromagnetic actuator operating like a holding magnet includes an anisotropic permanent magnet connected with a ferromagnetic yoke, an electromagnet and a ferromagnetic armature that is movable relative to the electromagnet. The yoke is cup-shaped and has a circular, elliptical or polygonal cross-section to reduce magnetic stray flux. All the aforementioned components are arranged coaxially with respect to a column-shaped core. The periphery of the yoke includes at least one opening configured for passage of the electrical conductors controlling the electromagnet. The opening also enables pressure equalization and vapor diffusion between the interior space of the actuator and the environment. The opening is oriented in the magnetic flux direction and is constructed to reduce eddy currents. The actuator also includes components forming an electrical freewheel circuit or an electrical energy store circuit.

    摘要: A magnetic drive system for switchgear has a magnet yoke in which a solid armature made of a magnetic material is guided in a linearly displaceable manner between two opposing end positions. The magnetic drive system further has at least one permanent magnet for generating a magnetic flux in the magnet yoke and at least one coil by which the armature can be moved back and forth between the end positions thereof. The armature is provided with elongated hollow channels for preventing eddy current losses. So as not to excessively reduce the stability of the armature by the channels made therein, the channels in the armature are configured in a closed fashion on the circumference thereof.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to a device for applying fluid material on a substrate. The device includes a valve body, a pole piece, and an electromagnetic drive unit that generates a magnetic field that moves the valve body relative to a pole piece between a closed position that interrupts the flow of material and an open position that releases the flow of material. The effect of the magnetic field provided by the drive unit is strengthened by the presence of a flux element. The flux element incorporates a portion, such as a slit, that eliminates circumferential electrical current paths, which allows the flux element to demagnetize more quickly when the drive unit is de-energized to remove the electromagnetic field. The rapid demagnetization decreases the cycle time for moving the valve body from the open position to the closed position.
