摘要: A single solenoid based double actuator device 100 is disclosed having a first actuator 106 configured for linear movement between actuated and dropped positions along an axis of a winding 102 and biased towards dropped position, and a second actuator 120 arranged spaced apart from the first actuator 106 for linear movement between actuated and dropped positions and biased towards dropped position. A pair of magnetic paths, an upper magnetic path 130, and a lower magnetic path 132, is provided at two ends of the actuators such that first actuator, upper plate 130, second actuator 120 and lower plate 132 provide a magnetic path for a magnetic field generated on passing a current through the winding 102. On passing a current exceeding a first current value, through the winding, one of the actuators is actuated, and on the current exceeding a second current value, other actuator is also actuated.

The electrical windings include a body having an aperture and electrical conductors wound about the aperture in the body; a conductive layer at the body, the conductive layer arranged to electrically shield the electrical conductors; electrical connectors at one or more external sides of the body, the electrical connectors electrically connected to the electrical conductors; an insulating housing containing electrical connections between the electrical connectors and the electrical conductors; a conducting faceplate at the insulating housing, grounding portions of the electrical connectors attached to the conducting faceplate; and a conductive coating on the insulating housing, the conductive coating electrically connected to the conducting faceplate and the conductive layer.

摘要: A torque motor for use in a servovalve wherein only two holes must be provided through each of the pole pieces in order to assemble the torque motor together. The torque motor comprises first and second opposing pole pieces, first and second permanent magnets positioned between the first and second pole pieces; an armature comprising a magnetic plate and a flapper, the magnetic plate being positioned between the first and second permanent magnets, the flapper being connected at one end to the magnetic plate; and further comprising: first and second fastening means each extending through the first pole piece, the armature and the second pole piece to thereby fasten the torque motor together.

摘要: A solenoid assembly is provided that includes male and female plungers and an electromagnetic coil configured to be energized to create a magnetic flux. Each plunger has a plunger face, where the female plunger face is configured to correspond with the male plunger face. The male plunger has a plurality of angled plunger steps that define the male plunger face, each angled plunger step including a corner having an angle in the range of 95 degrees to 115 degrees. The female plunger face has a similar, corresponding angled face. The solenoid assembly is suitable for use as a long stroke linear solenoid.

摘要: A starter for an internal combustion engine may include a support, an electric motor for driving a pinion in rotation, and a solenoid drive configured to axially adjust the pinion between an active position for driving a gearwheel of an internal combustion engine, and an axially offset passive position. The solenoid drive may include a ferromagnetic solenoid housing fastened to the support, a ferromagnetic plunger stop arranged one of in and at the solenoid housing, a ferromagnetic plunger axially adjustable relative to the plunger stop extending axially through a passage opening of a face side wall of the solenoid housing, and a cylindrical coil arrangement arranged in the solenoid housing surrounding a cylindrical coil interior in a circumferential direction. The plunger stop may include a cylindrical section projecting axially into the coil interior. The cylindrical section may have a face end facing towards the face side wall.

摘要: A power versatile and energy efficient electric coaxial valve is a dual magnetic latching electric tube-type valve having an electrically pulsed actuated permanent electromagnet with an armature having three active poles to increase the magnetic force of the armature provided by permanent magnets for energy efficiency. The electric coaxial valve is augmented with a balanced spring means that works in concert with the armature to increase the internal force and tube movement distance, while reducing the energy needed to operate the valve. The increased magnetic force, internal force, and tube movement distance provide a coaxial valve that can have increased pressure or flow area. The valve is power versatile in that the pulsed electric means used to operate the valve is power versatile.

The solenoid has a core that surrounds an outer side of the movable element in the radial direction, and a coil that magnetizes the core. The core has an annular ring part surrounding the outer side of the movable element, and tooth parts protruding radially outward from the ring part on which the coil is mounted.
