摘要： A combination canoe carrier and camp chair. The carrier supports an inverted canoe on a person's back and is also capable of being converted to a folding camp chair. The chair includes two rectangular frames pivotally connected intermediate their ends. Webbing is secured to the frame to provide seat and back portions and the frames are interconnected by straps to provide a chair configuration. In the canoe carrier mode a web interconnects upper ends of the frames to support the thwart of the inverted canoe. Suitable shoulder straps and a hip belt are also attached to the carrier.

摘要： This invention consists of a kit for facilitating the portage of canoes. The kit contains two identical spring loaded telescopic rods which attach spaced and parallel to each other to and between the central bar of the canoe and and any other strut on either side of said central bar, or to the front edge of the rear or front seat of the canoe. The other part of the kit consists of a cushion of soft resilient material which attaches to the center bar of the canoe and which is contoured to fit comfortably the back of the neck and center between the shoulders of the person carrying the canoe.

Various embodiments of the inflatables include an incurvate side about 240-300 degrees to secure to the shoulders, a length extending at least transversely across the seating area of the watercraft, a length about the width of one shoulder of the carrier, and a height to provide forward visibility for the carrier to avoid obstacles. The device makes possible single human transport of watercraft which lack a design structure for solo transport such as a kayak having a cockpit and a sit-on-top kayak.

The apparatus comprises of a front container portion, an intermediate portion, and a rear container portion, wherein said intermediate portion is connected between said front container portion and said rear container portion, and said front container portion connects to said rear container portion holding said intermediate portion there between. The intermediate portion comprises of a sleeve to hold a portion of the recreational equipment, at least one intermediate strap to hold an intermediate portion of the recreational equipment, and at least one bottom strap to hold a bottom portion of the recreational equipment. The intermediate portion may be stored between the front container portion and the rear container portion when not in use.

摘要： A portage system for supporting light watercraft such as a canoe or kayak includes a frame having opposed first and second upright arms, a plurality of cross-struts interconnecting the arms, a pair of shoulder straps secured to a cross strut and a hip belt secured adjacent bottom ends of the upright members to removably secure the frame to a user. First and second thwart cradles are adjustably secured to top ends of the first and second upright arms so that a center thwart of the watercraft may engage the first and second thwart cradles to support the watercraft at varying heights above the user. A balance strap is adjustably secured between a bottom end of an upright arm and a forward attachment point on the watercraft and tightened at a selected length by a slide buckle to prevent a rear end of the watercraft from descending below a selected height above a surface of the terrain the user is to portage in order to prevent the watercraft from banging into the obstructions on the surface and interrupting balance of the user, while enhancing forward visibility of the user. The thwart cradles can be adjusted to position the watercraft at one of a variety of heights above the user, the height being selected depending on the depth of the center thwart in the watercraft, and/or the length of the craft.
