Abstract: The invention relates to a cover or case for goods, in particular for use as a cover or case for hobby or sports equipment. In an embodiment, the case has an inner portion, formed of expanded polypropylene (ePP) and defining a cavity for receiving at least part of the item. The case also includes an outer layer, formed of self-reinforcing polypropylene (srPP), arranged to cover an outer surface of at least part of the inner portion. In further embodiments, the cover is formed of two or more sections that may be arranged to at least partially overlap, wherein adjusting the overlap of the at least two sections changes the dimensions of an inner cavity within the cover or case. The case may be telescoping, in order to provide adjustable dimensions for a cavity within the case.

Abstract: A ski carrying apparatus that includes a first strap securable around a set of primary skis and a second strap securable around a first set of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus can also include a linkage assembly that connects the first strap to the second strap that permits the second strap to be positioned substantially perpendicular to the first strap when the ski carrying apparatus is in use. Another embodiment of a ski carrying apparatus for supporting sets of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus includes a first strap securable around a first set of secondary skis and a second strap securable around a second set of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus can also include a handle that can be removably attached to the first or second strap for carrying the two sets of secondary skis.

Abstract: A rack support and method of use. The support rack can include a plurality of support slats mounted to a support base. The support slats cooperatively provide a plurality of article mounting channels, and article mounts can be slidably mounted in the channels in order to provide a variety of orientations of the article mounts with respect to the support base. Abstract: The disclosure includes a ski and ski pole carrying device that in many embodiments comprises two ski ties and lanyard. A ski pole strap with the proximal end coupled to a ski sleeve forms the ski tie. The ski ties may leave enough space between the sheaths and the bases to allow a portion of the skis' tips and tails to be slideably received by the ski tie as to secure the skis together. The ski ties may be arranged and configured for the skis' bases to be facing the same direction or in opposite directions. In some embodiments, the ski pole straps are a double sided hook and loop fastener arranged and configured to securely wrap around the respective ski tie and a pair of ski poles. The lanyard may be used in conjunction with the ski ties or independently to aid in carrying the skis and ski poles.

Abstract: A wheeled hand-cart configured to carry and secure ski equipment and accessories is described. The hand-cart is of the type where a user adjusts an attitude of the hand-cart for rolling travel so as to balance the load about a wheel axis of the hand-cart. The hand-cart includes a load platform extensive enough to carry ski boots as well as a large securable container. Ski mounts joined to the hand-cart carry skis outboard of the load platform at an attitude that provides for ample clearance between the tips of the skis and the user's upper body. The ski-carrying cart may include a voluminous securable container to serve as a mobile ski locker, and locking devices may be provided to secure the skis and the cart. The hand-cart is further configured to partially collapse to a narrow-stance mode adapted for rolling travel in narrow spaces.

Abstract: An apparatus for use with board sports equipment is described. The apparatus includes a cover that is configured to assume an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. In the expanded configuration, the cover is configured to cover a bottom surface and edges of a board, such as a snowboard, and to extend upwardly and inwardly about a perimeter of the board to partially cover a top surface of the board when in assembled relation to the board. In the collapsed configuration, the cover is configured to be turned inside out and outer ends of the cover are rolled upon themselves toward a center point of the cover when in unassembled relation to the board.
