摘要： A vocabulary game device having a stationary disc inscribed with spaces in radial and concentric rows. Prefixes, suffixes and roots of words are inscribed in said spaces. Rotatively supported on the stationary disc is an intermediate disc having a plurality of openings which are radially spaced to expose inscribed spaces on the stationary disc, and angularly offset to provide a series of diagonally arranged openings over the radial row of inscribed spaces of the stationary disc. A top cover disc is further provided having a plurality of openings angularly spaced therearound at angles which are the quotient of the number of concentric rows of inscribed spaces divided into 360*; and each thereof being radially disposed from the center to one of the radial spaces of the stationary disc. The game device structure according to my invention allows the provision of numerous inscriptions which are the subject matter of the game and means for selecting only one of the inscriptions with a very low probability of repeat selection.

摘要： Cranes, forklift trucks, and other burden manipulation apparatus generally comprise an elongate boom or other burden member of controllably variable moment with respect to the normally stably supported weighty base member of the apparatus. The present invention discloses a moment monitoring system so as to caution or apprise the apparatus operator that the burden member moment has attained an arbitrarily prescribed subcritical-level which is somewhat below the moment critical-level (i.e., the burden moment at which the base member and the entire apparatus is rendered unstable and inoperative). The moment monitoring system generally comprises sensing means of the variable liquid pressure type to sense when the controllably variable burden has attained the selected subcritical-level, said sensing means actuatably extending from the apparatus burden member to the base member thereof and being connected through a hydraulic-electrical transducer to caution the apparatus operator of said subcriticallevel and allow him to take moment-reducing corrective action. If the operator fails to take corrective action at the moment subcritical-level, the apparatus burden manipulation power can be made to automatically shut-off at the burden moment proxcriticallevel, thus averting disaster.

摘要： Cranes, forklift trucks, and other burden manipulation apparatus generally comprise an elongate boom or analagous burden member that exerts a controllably variable moment, as effected through a hydraulic-piston, etc., with respect to the normally stably supported weighty base member of the apparatus. The present invention discloses a moment monitoring system so as to caution or apprise the apparatus operator that the burden member moment has attained an arbitrarily prescribed subcritical-level which is quantitatively below the moment critical-level (i.e., the burden moment at which the base member and the entire apparatus is rendered unstable, tipped, or otherwise rendered inoperative). The moment monitoring system generally comprises hydraulic pressure differential sensing means extending between the two sides of the hydraulic-piston reciprocatable plunger, the differential sensing means being actuatably connected through a ram portion of a reciprocatable hydraulic pump including therewithin an isolated hydraulic metering fluid which exerts variable pressure upon a suitable pressure-responsive device such as a Bourdon-tube, at least one hydraulic-electrical transducer including a said pressure-responsive device and which transducer is electrically connected to a warning indicator for warning the apparatus operator that an arbitrarily prescribed subcriticallevel of burden moment has been attained, and yieldable resistance means (such as as weighted pivotal lever) which means increasingly resists effects of the pressure-responsive device at steeper boom angles thereby compensating for progressive decreases in the burden moment critical-level mathematical value coincident with progressively steeper boom angles.

摘要： A portable oven is disclosed having a knockdown enclosure with removable side and end members. A heat-proof cover may be provided for enclosing the top, sides and ends thereof. The oven may further include a grill rack for receiving food desired to be cooked in the oven and a fire pan tray on which the rack is set for receiving charcoal or the like. 摘要： An electric igniter assembly including a casing in which the major length of the igniter element is enclosed so that only a small portion is disposed in proximity to a gas burner; the electrical connectors for the igniter element and the electrodes that are attached to power leads are disposed remote from the flame issuing from the gas burner as well as being fixedly supported in the casing which includes shock absorbent material to reduce possibilities of breakage of the igniter element. A shield mounted upon the casing surrounds the igniter element so as to readily enable direct ignition of the gas burner and thereafter protect the igniter from direct burner flame impingement.

摘要： An improved gasoline engine fuel vaporizer which is used in conjunction with a normal carburetor to further vaporize the fuel and provide increased engine efficiency and performance. The device is built into a gasket which normally is mounted between the carburetor and intake manifold, and uses the manifold vacuum to draw air through holes onto a jet-edge ultrasonic whistle. The ultrasonic sound provides the vaporizing action on the fuel.
