    摘要: Provided is a shot-blasting apparatus which is capable of efficiently perform dust collection and ventilation of an inside of a projection chamber, even using a dust collector having a small-size and low-cost suction device. The shot-blasting apparatus comprises: a cabinet (10); a plurality of process chambers (13a, 13b) provided inside the cabinet in such a manner that each of the process chambers is capable of housing a workpiece therein and selectively movable between a carry-in-and-out position and a projection position; an air inlet port (19) for introducing external air into each of the process chambers therethrough; and an air outlet port provided at a position opposed to the air inlet port across the process chamber set at the projection position, and linearly communicated with an internal space of the process chamber set at the projection position, wherein, according to suction from the air outlet port, air is caused to flow from the air inlet port into the process chamber set at the projection position, and led to the air outlet port while passing through the process chamber set at the projection position.

    摘要: A treatment and containment system for treating an elongate object to be treated. The system comprises surface treatment equipment or device for treating a portion of the elongate object to be treated; a housing defines an enclosed treatment area and separates the enclosed treatment area from an operator of the surface treatment equipment or device, and the housing is opened at opposed ends thereof; each opposed opened end of the housing accommodates a pair of movable doors which seal against the elongate object to be treated and thereby closing each opposed opened end of the housing; the housing has an access aperture therein through which the surface treatment device passes and communicates with the enclosed treatment area, and the access aperture facilitates manipulation of the surface treatment device within the housing; and a transparent viewing aperture facilitates viewing of the elongate object to be treated by the operator.

    摘要: The present invention is a nozzle assembly having a nozzle main body including an ejection material suction port and an ejection port which ejects the ejection material with the compressed air, and an air nozzle which jets the compressed air into the nozzle main body. The nozzle main body includes a mixing chamber which mixes the ejection material with the compressed air, a first pathway directed from the ejection material suction port toward the mixing chamber, and a second pathway directed from the mixing chamber toward the ejection port. The air nozzle includes a compressed air jet portion and a third pathway directed to the compressed air jet portion, and the third pathway is inserted into the nozzle main body. The compressed air jet portion of the air nozzle is provided with a flow contracting portion having an opening.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for cyclically shielding a work chamber opening (25) when loading and unloading workpieces using a conveyor device (10) that passes through the work chamber opening. A first shielding element (21) is placed at a workpiece loading station (11.1), and a second shielding element (22) is placed behind a second workpiece placement location (11.2), as viewed in the conveying direction. When the first workpiece is loaded into the work chamber (20), the first shielding element (21) is placed at or in the work chamber opening (25) by advancing the conveyor device (10). The first shielding element (21) is then removed from the work chamber opening (25) and placed behind the second shielding element (22). These steps are repeated with subsequent workpiece placement locations (11.2, 11.3, . . . ) of the conveyor device (10) and with respective cross-over changes of the shielding elements (21, 22).

Sorted and meshed wet recycled abrasive is kept in a hopper for wet recycled abrasive, it is continuously delivered using a screw feeder into a drying chamber on a vibration mesh. Air is blown in the chamber, using an air flow generator, under a vibration mesh. The recycled abrasive is moved and lifted on the mesh using air flow and mesh vibration, this provides for clots of recycled abrasive to break down to particles of recycled abrasive and abrasive mixes and dries.

    摘要: A containment system the operator to contain, see, blast, and reclaim the grit or abrasives used to strip external surfaces of a pipe, rod, or substantially cylindrical object. The containment chamber or housing is constructed of sections that can be quickly assembled to encapsulate such objects. The grit reclamation or recovery system of the invention is operable to be used in connection with objects that are positioned in a vertical, horizontal, or angled orientation. The containment housing is assembled from sections to encapsulate pipe to contain the dust and grit while blasting. The containment housing has inflatable seals that seal and grip around the pipe. Nozzle control and access as well as vision access are provided to allow the operator to control where the pipe will be blasted and the intensity of the blast. The containment system has a centrifugal grit reclamation design that will work in vertical, horizontal and angular orientation.
