    Abstract: An air conduction device suitable for a sports car motor vehicle extends in a lateral direction of the vehicle, adjacent to a tail lid. The air conduction device can be moved by an activation device out of a resting position into an operating position and vice versa. In order to optimize the air conduction device in functional and structural terms, it is hinged on the tail lid by a swing arm device which is separably connected with the activation device by means of which the air conduction device is moved out of the resting position into the operating position.

    Abstract: A mobile vehicle cab has cab extender pieces engaged to the cab rearwards relative to vehicle forward movement. The cab extenders act as extensions of the cab sides to provide aerodynamic efficiency to vehicle operation. A one-piece cab extender mounting and integrated grab handle is engaged to the rearward side of the cab and to the interior surface of the left side cab extender. The cab extender mounting and integrated grab handle contains a vertical handle portion that is integrated and between an approximately horizontal upper portion and an approximately horizontal lower portion.

    Abstract: Two layers of a flexible and essentially impervious material are sealed to each other at their edges and are otherwise separate from each other so as to form an interior portion. Many lengths of thread connect the layers together at numerous points throughout the interior portion. The length of the thread that is between the layers is relatively short and the thread connects the layers at a sufficient number of points to restrain the layers and hold them in a spaced relationship when the interior portion is inflated with air. Applying modest air pressure to the interior portion produces a lightweight structure of sufficient stiffness that is attached to the rear ends of truck trailers to improve airflow and reduce drag at highway speeds.

    Abstract: An aerodynamic device is disclosed which includes a generally triangular shaped device having a curved top surface which induces a laminar air flow over the tailgate of a truck. In addition, the aerodynamic device defines a space that may be used as a storage space. This space may be further defined by coupling the aerodynamic device to side panels and a floor panel to form a secure aerodynamic container. The container is aerodynamic in design and reduces the aerodynamic drag of a truck bed. Both the aerodynamic device and aerodynamic container disclosed significantly increase truck efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
