摘要： A flaccid and lightweight bottom delivery package for dispensing fluid products. The package comprises a tubular container for housing the fluid products. The container has a closed top and an open bottom having a gusset panel attached thereto. The gusset panel and that portion of the container below the gusset panel define a stand-up base that allows the package to stand alone on a flat surface while resting on its bottom end. The gusset panel has a discharge orifice disposed therein and a self-sealing valve sealingly secured to the discharge orifice. The valve has a closed position for storage and an open position for dispensing. The valve opens in response to manual squeezing forces being applied to the container, and closes when said manual forces are removed. The package further includes a hook or the like adjacent its top end for hanging the package from a support.

摘要： A container has a body made of superimposed layers of flexible plastics film and a port sealed between said layers. The port comprises superimposed layers of flexible plastics material which provide a channel. A layer of non-sealable material is located in said channel during sealing of the port to the container body so as to prevent the opposing surfaces of the channel from being sealed together, said non-sealable layer being thereafter removed. Preferably the port comprises two layers of film united at one end thereof and along opposite sides thereof to provide the channel with a rupturable closure at the one end.

The bag (3) has at the bottom end a connector (38) and is of such a length that when the base (5) of the outer carton (1) is open, the connector (38) protrudes at least as far as the opened flaps (6, 7, 8, 9) of the outer carton (1).

摘要： A coupling device for connecting a material discharge to a packing, preferably with walls of plastic foil for viscous material, comprises two interconnectable coupling members, one of which is mounted on the packing and the other on the material discharge. The coupling device permits application of a material discharge to the packing in a quick and efficient manner. A packing coupling is mounted on an unbroken wall portion of the packing and is provided with a separating portion disposed inside the packing. The separating portion comprises a grip portion for the material discharge coupling, side openings for flow-through of material and a support portion directed towards an opposed wall portion of the packing. The material discharge coupling is provided with a hole-punching portion for punching the unbroken wall portion and a grip portion which is designed to securably fit into the grip portion of the packing coupling after punching.

摘要： A device and method for use in forming an access port, and also in forming a leakproof seal between a conduit (e.g., a catheter tube) and a thermoplastic film (e.g., the wall of an ostomy bag, wound cover pouch, or similar pouch). The device includes internal and external coupling rings adapted to be locked together with a collar of film material clamped therebetween. An elastomeric nipple has an enlarged proximal end portion similarly clamped between the coupling rings and contributes in forming fluid-tight seal between the parts. The method of use of the device is also disclosed, such method including the insertion of a piercing element into the opening of the internal ring to form a two-piece piercing assembly, followed by the step of utilizing that assembly to pierce a flexible plastic film and form a collar of plastic material about the outer surface of the internal ring.
