    摘要: A liner (10) is disclosed for use with a container. The liner has a liner body (11) with a bottom wall (13), a top wall (14) and peripheral side walls (15). The liner also includes a ween plate (21). The weep plate includes a radial array of protrusions (22) extending inwardly and downwardly from a generally planar base plate (23). The base also includes a centrally located circular fitment mounting opening (25). A hose fitment (29) extends through the liner top wall and weep plate fitment mounting opening and is sealed thereto so that a vacuum hose coupled to the fitment is in fluid communication with the interior space of the liner. The weep plate has a select width and length smaller that the select width and length of the liner to define a margin or marginal space (32) therebetween.

    摘要: A flexible pouch for packaging a product, such as a carbonated beverage, is provided that includes a front panel and a back panel each having an upper edge, a lower edge opposite the upper edge, and side edges extending therebetween the upper and lower edges. The pouch includes a first closing seal extending along an upper edge of the joined front and back panel formed a predetermined length from the open edge so that there is no dead space inside the pouch between the product and the first closing seal and a second closing seal outside the first closing seal, to form a pocket trapping some of the product between the first closing seal and the second closing seal. A method of forming and filling the pouch includes the steps of forming each panel and joining two panels by scaling together the side edges and lower edge. The method also includes the steps of opening the pouch and filling the pouch with the product. The method further includes the steps of closing the filled pouch by forming a first closing seal extending along an upper edge of the pouch a predetermined length from the upper edge, such that there is no dead space inside the pouch between the product and the first closing seal, and forming a second seal between the first closing seal and the upper edge thereby trapping the product between the first closing seal and the second closing seal, and finishing the pouch.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to a connector for packaging containing medical fluids, in particular infusion or transfusion bags, including a tubular connection part for receiving a spike for the withdrawal of fluid, and having a lower opening on the packaging side and an upper opening on the connection side. A self-sealing membrane, which is pierced by the spike, is located in the connection part. The membrane has an upper, annular section leading into a lower, plate-shaped section, said annular section of the membrane surrounding the spike in a sealing manner, when the latter pierces the plate-shaped section. The membrane acts as a guide for the spike and also reseals the connector, once the spike has been removed.

    摘要: An upright product outlet bag evacuation packaging (100, 200) includes a flexible, collapsible bag (101, 201) and a spout (116, 216) that contains and dispenses a liquid (118, 218). The indentation (114, 214) hinders flush contact between the first wall (102, 202) and the second wall (104, 204) as the bag (101, 201) progressively collapses as the liquid (118, 218) is dispensed. A housing (300, 400) for use with a dispenser may be used to create and reinforce the indentation (114, 214). The housing (300, 400) includes a cavity (303, 403) configured and arranged to receive the bag (101, 201). A door (302, 402) is operatively connected to the housing and includes a bar member (304, 404) which extends into the cavity (303, 304). The bar member (304, 404) contacts the bag (101, 201) with the cavity (303, 304) to create and reinforce the indentation (114, 214).
