摘要： A container for storing bulk material including a base wall, first and second end walls and a pair of sidewalls for forming an opened top enclosure. The container is transportable and tiltable between a generally upright storage position and a tilted dumping position either manually or through the use of a conventional forklift truck. The base and sidewalls define respectively first and second abutment walls both recessing inwardly and being formed integrally with the remainder of the container. The lifting tines of the forklift truck are adapted to contact the first abutment walls for supporting the container in its generally upright position. The sidewalls also define a recessed section allowing the container to pivot about a pivot location located generally about the center of mass of the container between the upright position and the tilted position wherein the lifting tines abuttingly contact the second abutment walls.

The worm gear drive is typically operated by a hand crank or an electric drill to selectively extend and retract the cable and raise and lower the compressors.

摘要： The specification describes a mobile jack stand power unit for use with a jack stand that is convertible for use as a load-lifting jack. The power unit comprises a generally rectangular mobile chassis having a forward end and a rearward end with a lift means mounted on the chassis including a pushing means, and a pair of parallel lift arms. The lift arms are pivotal within the chassis and have forward ends and rearward ends, with the forward ends adapted to be raised and lowered by the pushing means for use with the jack stand, and are further adapted for use with a lift bridge. A lift bridge is adapted to be positioned on the forward ends of the lift arms whereby the power unit is operable for use as a load-lifting jack; and the bridge is further adapted to be displaced from the forward ends of the lift arms whereby the power unit is operable for use with the jack stand. The specification further discloses the bridge, a forgeable one-piece lift arm assembly, a leveling pad for the forward ends of the lift arms, and a safety securing mechanism for securing the rearward ends of the lift arms independent of any force from the pushing means.

摘要： A tool for inserting and removing gaskets from hose couplings includes a shaft having a nose and heel attached at one end of the shaft. The heel includes a flat, bottom surface that is pressed against the gasket in order to push the gasket into place. The heel may have a sufficiently large surface area to not cause undue markings or damage to the gasket when it is inserted. When the gasket is to be removed, the nose is inserted between an underside of the gasket and the gasket seat. The heel is then moved into contact with the gasket seat and used as a fulcrum by which the nose is lifted away from the gasket seat. This lifting movement causes the gasket to be lifted out of the hose coupling.
