摘要: A sight glass system that simplifies the way a sight glass is cleaned and accessed during servicing a boiler or tank. This system allows someone to treat the boiler or tank with a cleaning liquid solution without taking off the pressure release valve of the vessel to pour in the solution. The cleaning process is now achieved easily with the sight glass system by taking off the service valve head cap to pour the treatment through the sight glass and into the boiler or tank with the shut off valves open. The system consist of a sight glass that is connected to a top and bottom valve having a removable threaded cap, a female threaded aperture on one side, and a threaded protrusion that secures the sight glass via a fastening system of a rubber washer, O-ring, and wing nut respectively. Furthermore, the top valve is designed in such a way that will allow the sight glass when not secured to slide up and out when the fastening system is unfastened. By unfastening the fastening system, the wing nut can move freely down the sight glass allowing for easy removal of the sight glass through the top valve when the cap is removed along with the rubber washer and O-ring. The top and bottom valves are connected to the main water shutoff valves respectively via a threaded member that is screwed on to the side of the valves containing a female threaded aperture.

摘要: A boiler group includes a plurality of boilers. Each of the boilers has a unit amount of steam and a maximum variable amount of steam. A controller includes a deviation calculator for calculating a deviation amount between a necessary amount of steam and an output amount of steam, a boiler selector for selecting the plurality of boilers in order of load factors, and an output controller for varying an amount of steam of a boiler selected first by the boiler selector by the maximum variable amount of steam—when the deviation amount is at least the—maximum variable amount of steam, and varying the amount of steam of the first selected boiler by the unit amount of steam for the deviation amount when the deviation amount is less than the maximum variable amount of steam.

摘要: An apparatus for determining the fluid velocity and direction of flow in a generating bank tube attached to a drum of a boiler provides fluid to a measurement area located within the drum. In one embodiment, static and dynamic pressures of the fluid within the measurement area are determined by a pitot tube assembly located in the measurement area and sent to a pressure measuring device such as a U-tube manometer or a Bourdon gage for a direct pressure reading, or to a pressure transmitter to produce signals for processing by a calculating device. The calculating devices processes the pressure transmitter signals representative of the pressures, uses the energy equation to calculate the fluid velocity based upon these pressures, and transmits same to a display device for reading by an operator. In another embodiment, a flowmeter is used on the measurement area directly and transmits the fluid velocity to a display device.
