    摘要: A convertible binding comprising a base plate, a heel plate and a toe plate. The toe plate is rotatable from one end of a frame to either lie underneath the base plate or extend outward from the base plate to form a front portion of a snowshoe configuration. The heel plate is rotatable from a second end of the frame to either extend upward from the base plate to provide a heel back support for a snow board binding configuration to or extend outward from the base plate, in an opposing direction from said toe plate, to form a back portion of a snowshoe configuration. A mounting bracket with a forward and rear lip is attached to a snowboard and holds the convertible binding. A locking mechanism will hold the base plate down.

    摘要: In described embodiments, a snowboard conversion kit includes a first strap assembly having a first hollow strap sleeve having a first end, a second end, distal from the first end, and a cutout between the first end and the second end. A first strap has a first strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the first end and a second strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the second end. The first strap and the first strap sleeve form a loop. A first strap securing assembly is adapted to extend through the first hollow strap sleeve and secure the first hollow strap sleeve to a snowboard. A second strap assembly, similar to the first strap assembly is also provided.

    摘要: Some embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and apparatus relating to a touring snowboard binding comprising an adjustable lateral leverage device. In some embodiments, the adjustable lateral leverage device may comprise at least one first attachment generally at a top corner of a highback of a touring snowboard boot and at least one second attachment generally at an ankle portion of the binding. The adjustable tensioning element may extend generally diagonally between the at least one first attachment and the at least one second attachment such that when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is increased the lateral support to the boot is increased proportionally and when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is decreased the lateral support to the boot is decreased proportionally. Some embodiments also provide a touring snowboard boot comprising an adjustable leverage device.

    摘要: A skiboard system is provided. The system includes a skiboard and left and right loose heel binding secured to the skiboard. The skiboard has a longitudinal axis, a central portion and an upward curving front shovel area. The central portion includes side edges and a central waist. The side edges have concave curvatures of radius and extend between front and rear ends of the central portion so that the concave curvatures of the side edges form the central waist. The central portion further includes a longitudinal camber, which elevates the waist. The upward curving front shovel area has a front tip and is formed by the front end of the central portion. The left and right loose heel bindings are secured to the central portion substantially parallel to each other on opposite sides of the waist at an acute angle less than 35 degrees from the longitudinal axis. Furthermore, the bindings are angled to the right of the longitudinal axis when the left binding is in front of the waist and the bindings are angled to the left of the longitudinal axis when said right binding is secured in front of the waist.

    摘要: A monoski system includes a single ski having a conventional ski binding secured thereto and a boot receiver rearwardly of the ski binding. The boot receiver loosely receives the footwear of the skier and includes a boot supporting platform and a tapered section positioning the skier's rear boot in a forwardly inclined position. In one embodiment, the boot supporting platform is angularly adjustable about an upright axis to position the skier's rear boot at a small acute angle relative to the direction of intended travel. The inclination of the boot is adjustable by changing the tapered section.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to splitboard bindings. The splitboard bindings can be used to change a splitboard between a snowboard for riding downhill in a ride mode and touring skis for climbing up a hill in a tour mode. The bindings can have a first interface and a second interface configured to engage and disengage. The interfaces can be configured such that a binding has large clearances for easy transitions. The first interface can be configured with a locking mechanism. The second interface can be configured to remove large clearances between the first interface and second interface, when the locking mechanism of the first interface is engaged with the second interface, allowing the first interface to attach tightly to the second interface and splitboard to improve the ride of the splitboard.

    摘要: A snowboard boot and binding system is disclosed which facilitates the engagement and disengagement of a snowboard boot and binding. The snowboard boot may include a boot engagement member extending from a rear of the boot. The boot engagement member is moved downwardly into a corresponding binding engagement member to provide an arrangement which prevents forward movement of the boot. The boot engagement member also may include one or more serrations to engage with one or more pawls on the binding to prevent upward movement of the boot. A snap-in arrangement may be provided in a boot toe region. The boot has protrusions extending outwardly from each side of the boot to engage with catches on the binding sidewalls. As the boot is pressed downwardly into the binding, the protrusions splay the catches until reaching recesses, at which point the catches rebound to capture the protrusions against upward movement.
