    摘要: An electronic device such as a head-mounted device may have a transparent member supported by head-mounted support structures. Optical sensors such as time-of-flight sensors and other optical sensors may have light-emitting components and light-detecting components. A stray light blocking structure may be formed in the transparent member. The stray light blocking structure may be configured to block stray light that is traveling laterally through an interior portion of the polymer layer. This prevents the stray light from being received by the light-detecting detecting device. The stray light blocking structure may formed by providing the polymer layer with light redirecting structures such as protrusions and/or recesses. Light-absorbing coatings and/or patterned surfaces such as textured surfaces may be incorporated into the stray light blocking structure.

The display optical system is configured to receive the two-dimensional image from the electronic display, produce a beam with a cross-section that remains substantially constant along the optical path, and produce a collimated beam exiting the opening in the display housing. The medical apparatus can also include an auxiliary video camera configured to provide an oblique view of a patient on the electronic display without requiring a surgeon to adjust their viewing angle through oculars viewing the electronic display.

    摘要: A gaze-tracking system for use in a head-mounted display apparatus, and a method of tracking a user's gaze, via such a gaze-tracking system. The gaze-tracking system includes a plurality of illuminators for emitting light pulses to illuminate a user's eye when the head-mounted display apparatus is worn by the user, the illuminators including at least a first illuminator and a second illuminator; at least one lens positioned on an optical path of reflections of the light pulses from the user's eye, the at least one lens having no chromatic-aberration correction; at least one camera for capturing an image of the reflections of the light pulses; and a processor coupled with illuminators and the at least one camera, the processor being configured to control operations of the illuminators and the at least one camera, and to process the captured image to detect a gaze direction of the user.
